Bought this for my father who is in a hospital bed at home. He has some pressure sores, so got this to help them heal. Wound care nurse said he is now healing nicely. Super quiet pump and seems to be comfortable for him.

I purchased this for my father who's bedridden and had developed bedsores, he absolutely loves it and it's alleviating his bedsores. It's very easy to set up, it's silent and it's reasonably priced. His bedsores are healing nicely.

So, my Mother in Law is an invalid and developed a bed sore and my Wife and Sisters in Law have been staying with her and having to turn her or roll her over every hour to relieve the sore and prevent more. A neighbor told us about this and we ordered it. Think if it as a fancy air mattress with a two stage pump. The pump inflates every other row of air pockets for about 5 minutes, then slowly deflates that row as it inflates the alternate row. It's subtle, quiet and it's working. This way, you don't have to roll the patient over, waking them up and yet you are not keeping constant pressure on any one spot of the body. There is a quiet air noise as each row deflates but after an hour nobody notices it and you know it's working. Had we known about these we would have ordered and used it long ago. I bought this for the bed and one designed for her recliner.
