Good and easy
This product makes very good cream soups without the worry of separation/curdling like you sometimes get when using milk or half and half, especially when sitting in a crockpot for parties, etc.. A lot of restaurants use this base and it is also gluten free.

Makes great soup and is so easy to use. I like to add more water to our soup so it’s not quite as thick. I wish they would leave out the Maltodextrin from the ingredients.

I'm a From Scratch cook to avoid toxic additives in our food. This product has no chemical additives, easy to use, tastes great and replaces scratch cream soups, white sauces and gravy. It replaces the Cream of Crap canned soup in casseroles. Le Gout Cream Soup Base is a timesaver without sacrificing health or flavor. Family favorite chicken dinner is mixing La Gout with chicken broth, adding diced chicken, cream cheese, green chiles, sweet onion and oregano. Serve with tortillas or white beans.

New recipe written on the bag. it's aweful now
this use to be amazing stuff. I would use it to make cream of crab. just made the soup base and its lost it's sweet flavor and thickness. it now is bland and costs the tongue like cornstarch. ugh, it was always the race of any feast. the bag says NEW RECIPE. why did they do that? I won't be buying it anymore. it's horrible now
