My First Carcassonne

Q: Will the standard base game be duplicate with kids version? Same titles or can they mix with kids version?

Normal Carcassonne can NOT be combined with kids' Carcassonne (according to my son- I had gotten this for my granddaughter)

Q: What’s the difference between my first carcassone and carcasonne kid’s game versions?

They are completely different games.

Q: We were given my first carcassonne as a gift a few years ago. does this work well with an expansion set, or will i need to get a standard set first?

This is a version for kids. There is a regular version of Carcassonne that has many different expansion packs you can purchase.

Q: Can't decide between My 1st Carcassonne Game or Race to the Treasure by Peaceable Kingdom... a gift for a 7yo with siblings 3 & 4yrs. Any thoughts?

Can't really speak to "Race to the Treasure" since I don't have it. What I can tell you is that we got My 1st Carcassonne for my then 3.5y old son, he played with it (mostly with me) about once a week for 3-4 months and then got tired of it as the challenge was gone and the game had devolved to the level of Candyland. He still asks for it about once a month, but it's mostly as a pasttime.
