Amazing!!!
I moved from a warehouse in a major urban city to a house the country. After being here with my dog for two years, I noticed on a string of 100-degree days that the yard reeked of urine. BAD. Never having dealt with this issue before, because this is the first time I've had my own yard, I freaked out and raced to the computer to see if there were any enzymatic treatments that were safe for lawns. To my surprise, I discovered there are several products just for this problem! Since I was also having an issue with tons of bugs, I had been looking into natural remedies to repel them. So when I found this odor control product that also had citronella — citronella oil being one of the most common herbal insect repellents — it was like kismet. I could kill two birds with one stone, yay! The day this stuff arrived, I immediately unwrapped it and headed out to spray it on. I noticed the difference immediately. Wow! Just as I was finishing up spraying, a friend stopped by to chat with me, and I mentioned the problem I was having with urine stink, and she sniffed and said, "Your yard just smells like hay to me." And it was true. After spraying, the yard didn't smell like chemicals, it didn't smell like some sickly fake cover-up, it didn't smell overpoweringly of citronella, it just smelled like warm damp hay. Fantastic! It continued to smell like hay with a light trace of citronella for about three days (and I was only aware of the citronella because it knew it was in there; I doubt anyone else would have been able to pinpoint the faint underscent). my yard is back to smelling the way it did when I moved in, meaning there's no odor at all now, neither hay nor pee, which is perfect. Well, mostly perfect. I know that with herbal yard treatments to control bugs, they have to be repeated fairly frequently. That's just the nature of, well ... NATURE. Herbal treatments and essential oils don't have the long-term residual effect that nasty toxic chemicals do, and for those of us who prefer to stay away from such things, we accept that more-frequent treatment is part of the price we have to pay to not poison ourselves and our environments. I'm okay with that and it isn't a surprise to me. I expected it. So at the same time I purchased this product, I also purchased an herbal yard spray just for repelling insects and I also have several DIY recipes I can make myself with essential oils, so when the citronella in the NATURVET wears off and bugs start showing up again, I'll just do a quick spritz of one of those treatments. No biggie. And when my yard starts stinking of dog pee again, I'm going to buy more NATUREVET, because it worked brilliantly for me and the effect was immediate. What a relief! In fact, it's been so nice, I've been going out in the late afternoons to sit on a new garden bench I put up right next to that area and watch the birds. It all feels so civilized! Lovely.

NaturVet – Yard Odor Eliminator – Eliminate Stool and Urine Odors from Lawn and Yard
THE GOOD - I just connect the hose and sprayer to water down my 10' x 14' enclosed gravel covered dog run where the big dogs do their business. One NaturVet bottle is good for 1 treatment, but I spread it out of 2 treatments to save money if the oder wasn't too bac. Smells nice, but a bit on the strong side. THE BAD - I bought several of these over time...got kind of pricer after a while since it doesn't prevent future pee smells from quickly developing, especially during the summer. I have used Murphy's Soap Oil with water that does very well in getting rid of pee odor, but it gets still pricey over time. By the way, soaking and then hand washing smelly ice hockey gear with Murphy's Soap Oil and water will get rid of all smells. Works way better than anything out there to ridding the awful smell out of shin guards, elbow pads, gloves, helmets, and hockey bags. Any hockey parent will tell you hockey gear smell is the worst. MY CURRENT SOLUTION - I started mixing several tablespoons of baking soda (from Costco) with a gallon of water (empty milk cartons) and immediately spot treat each fresh pee spot with a squirt bottle (large Ketchup squirt bottle). This will hold down the smell quite a bit because baking soda will help neutralize the acidic urine that causes the smell. When the pissy smell starts to build up in the hot sun, I will fill a gallon size garden watering pail with soda water and add an 1/8 cup or less of Odor Ban (watermelon scented) to the solution. I then water the gravel area with this solution where the dogs peed on. I'll lightly water the gravel afterwards with the hose sprayer to prevent any possible iritation to the dogs' pad and to help the solution soak deeper into the ground. My dogs are trained to pee only on a 3' x 5' area. Works great. A gallon of Odor Ban is only $10, By the way, this solution works well on spot cleaning carpets...and also when used in a carpet cleaner machine where incontinent persons occasionally have a boo-boo or oospy.

Amazing!!!!!!
Where has this product been hiding? I’ve been using a good product to hose down my doggy area on my patio and it still left a somewhat lingering scent. It bothered me. I found this product with wonderful reviews and purchased it. It’s amazing. It works and it leaves a citronella scent that’s pleasing and not overwhelming. It’s a bit more expensive than what I was paying and a less quantity, but it’s worth it. The area is a small size patio so I can actually get a lot of uses with a smaller amount because it works so well. I will be subscribing to this product so I get it monthly. It’s so clean and definitely worth the buy. A++++

Awesome Stuff
I have 3 large dogs in a fairly large fenced-in yard. I have been ill lately and unable to pooper scoop. It's a miracle my neighbors have not complained after the hot summer we have had this year! I bought NaturVet Yard Odor Eliminator on a whim and a prayer after reading the reviews. I used it WITHOUT pooper scooping and it still worked great!!! There is no smell in my yard right now, a few days after using it! This stuff WORKS!!

Love this stuff! We have our back yard back.
We live in Vegas and have two dogs. The backyard patio and fake grass with the dog urine made the backyard smell so bad in the afternoon that we couldn't be out there. But we were having a party and I needed to get rid of the smell. After some online research I chose NaturVet. No particular reason. It wasn't the cheapest but I figured I would give it a shot. Two weeks before the party (wanted to give myself time to try something else if needed) I sprayed the concrete and fake lawn following the directions. I did it after the sun was low so that it didn't evaporate immediately in the 100+ degree heat. Within minutes the smell was pretty much gone. Couldn't believe it. The next day at high noon I went back out to see if the baking sun had brought back the smell and honestly you wouldn't know we had dogs. The day before the party I sprayed again and once it dried there was zero smell - none. We had Polynesian dancers at the party and the musicians set up on the lawn with the dancers in front of them and no one said a thing. All our friends were out dancing on the lawn and didn't smell a thing. Truly remarkable stuff. One thing I did note - it is sticky if you don't wash it off the concrete so if you spray on concrete (we have Cool Deck) you need to wash it off with plain water. But IMO that actually helps since the urine will wash away with the NaturVet and it will work on the "puddle" if that makes any sense. I am not sure where the negative reviews are coming from but for us - this was a product that worked as well as it was described and helped make our outdoor party a huge success! One item to note - it doesn't last long. Once the two weeks was past the backyard smelled again so I had to re-treat as I mentioned. So not a long term solution (unless you spray once a week) but for point in time smell relief, this is the stuff for you.

Works great inside and outside!!
Smells fantastic, cleans very well and deodorizes the backyard very well. The fresh scent lasts and I’ve had no flys or mosquitoes since I’ve used it… it’s a very well rounded product that works. It is concentrated so a little in a 32ox spray bottle goes a long way for furniture and smaller areas. Large areas do not require a lot of the product either if mixed well with water.
