English for Business Studies Student's Book: A Course for Business Studies and Economics Students (Cambridge Professional English)

This book was in new condition with no marks on it that I have yet found. It is an excellent book for anyone wishing to study economics , finance or business if English is not their first language.

I came upon the book quite by chance when my son had to buy it for his business studies course in english at university. As an english teacher, I have now been using it successfully with several groups and i find it holds the interest of the students since it is full of useful business information, plus a vocabulary section and with the tapes that can be purchased with the course there is a chance to hear a native speaker either uk or american which makes a change for the students from listening to me all the time. it has a companion teachers book which helps to set the mood when you start the unit and also has the key to the exercises. i would recommend this book to anyone with a passable knowledge of english who wants to get further information on business studies and a general feel of how the world of economics works. there is a glossary at the back of the book in several other languages which has also been helpful.

Ich musste mir dieses Buch für die FH anschaffen für ein Fach und es ist verständlich und damit kann man gut arbeiten, gefällt mir und kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. Versand war im Übrigen auch gut, da es auch aus dem Ausland gekommen ist.

This is an excellent course for advanced business English, and it is importnt to note that it is geared toward learners who already have a very well established command of the language. The one thing I don't like is that many of the listening activities model incorrect English, which surprised me quite a bit.

I like it. It is easy to use. There is even business term vocabs for beginners like me. I am studying this in class. But, I think the book is easy to understand, so for people who want to self-study, it is also a good choice.
