Is this better or the matte seperation?

I wouldn't buy this product again. It is oil based, hence, neither gives you shine nor matte look. Moreover because of its oily base, there wouldn't be any volume too. My hair becomes limp and wavy after using it. So yeah, may be the other one or any other brand. The hold is medium.

Is this product good for short hair style?
