I've always used cartridge based razers like Gillette but I figured I'd try a safety razor for a change. After the first shave I am already very impressed by both the shave, how easy it is to use and the affordability. Not only are the blades easy to swap and clean when compared to cartridges, they are incredibly cheap. You can get a box of a 100 for a just a few quid online and save yourself a lot of dosh. The Gillette and Wilkinson's cartridge brands are good, no doubt, but they are expensive and cannot be recycled and end up just filling up landfills. The blades I've used for this are both cheaper, easier to clean and give a clean cut that easily rivals your common razor brand. It is incredible. The weight of the razor is not too heavy, but the material used gives it a heftiness that makes it feel premium despite the affordable price point. It comes with 5 blades which should last you a while. It also may take a shave or two to adjust to the razor, especially how much pressure you need to exert to shave. I recommend a wet shave if you have coarse facial hair with a considerable dollop of shaving foam for the first go or so, primarily to get used to how much friction you need to apply to shave. I only nicked myself once on my first go, so if you're patient and consider yourself a decent shaver with a steady hand, you should be absolutely fine. While the blades aren't particularly sharp or painful to use, they can still give you a nasty cut if you're not careful. The blades are also easy to replace too, you just twist the head of the razor off and insert the blade, twist it back on and voila. I can't sing this products praise more. I regret not buying one years ago.

Estaba un poco asustada de usarla por la cantidad de comentarios que dicen que es facil cortarse, que se hacen destrozos y que tienen que triplicar el tiempo de afeitado para hacerlo bien.. A mi me ha sorprendido, la he usado en la ducha sólo con el jabón corporal (no he usado espuma de afeitar) es impresionante lo manejable y suave que es, se desliza en la piel muy fácilmente y elimina el vello con una pasada y no es necesario hacer nada de presión. El cabezal va directamente a la raíz del vello, no a la piel, incluso en zonas difíciles. No he tardado mucho más de lo habitual, así que cuando lleve mas tiempo de uso tardaré el mismo tiempo en afeitarme que con una cuchilla de plastico o incluso menos ya que es más eficaz. En conclusión, buena compra; se elimina el uso de plasticos, es fácil usarla y el resultado es perfecto. Lo úniva pega por decir algo, que sólo viene con una cuchilla pero es de buenísima calidad.
