I recently purchased the TOPENS RK700T, and I am extremely satisfied with it. The product is excellent, very well-built and offered at a very reasonable price. Installation was straightforward, thanks to the clear instruction manual and the inclusion of all necessary accessories. I also paired it with the TC196 WiFi Remote Control and the TKP3 Wireless Keypad, both of which are very useful and easy to set up. What truly stood out to me was TOPENS’ customer service. They are incredibly professional, reliable, responsive, and genuinely supportive. It’s clear they care about their customers and go the extra mile to ensure a positive experience. I had a very pleasant experience with TOPENS and would not hesitate to do business with them again. I highly recommend them to my family, friends, and anyone looking for a quality gate opener and exceptional service.

Bought this to replace unbranded gate opener which went faulty and replaced by same product which went faulty a second time. Straight away you can see the quality of this gate opener compared to the others. Installed and works perfectly with no issues. The magnetic limit switch with soft start and close is superb as it doesn't jolt the gate as it closes and opens. More expensive than unbranded but you get what you pay for. Would definitely recommend.

As an amateur astronomer I have a garden observatory with permanently mounted telescope. The roof of the observatory runs off on rail guided wheels which I have operated manually for many years. To enable fully remote operation of the observatory I decided to motorise the roof using a Topens RK700T sliding gate motor drive. The Topens unit operates using a rack and pinion drive system which was easily adapted to control the roof with some small modifications. Installation was relatively simple with the motor unit being mounted to the observatory wall and the drive rack mounted firmly to the roof. The drive pinion shield needed to be modified so the rack could be engaged on the side rather than the top as in a sliding gate application. Open and closed positions are determined by careful positioning of the N/S magnetic stop sensors mounted on the rack. A photo cell beam detector can be mounted so that anything obstructing movement of the roof will disable operation. Operation can be controlled in a number of ways, remote fob (2 supplied), wired/wireless push button or via the internet using an app with additional accessories. The attached video shows the unit in operation.

Won’t move a 400kg fence Without breaking the gears. Ordered unit 1, returned as motor noisy. Received 2nd the next day, exactly the same issue. Spend more, buy a decent quality motor.

Good product. Easy to install and when contacted about gear slippage Zach sent the new metal gear wheel and it has operated perfectly since.

Not installed yet so difficult to say, but first impressions are good; appeared well made / instructions clear. If it works without issues it’s great value for money.

Worked for 4 years before suddenly breaking, upon inspection the inner cog had snapped in half, turns out it is made of plastic… functions well when it works, instructions were easily followed and it fits to the ground well, security is ok but could be better, it is easily opened and can be manually opened with the key or pliers which is not great!

Good solid Gate opener. Same as the one we have on our main gate that has worked well for the last 3 years.
