Worth every penny
Works wonderful, water tastes great, and has not given me any issues. Not too bulky and fits in well with my other countertop appliances. Only draw back is I can only get 1 liter of carbonated water before I need to wait 2 minutes to pull the next liter. It is due to the water being both chilled and carbonated so I get it. I have a dedicated machine for carbonation and the Brio will not be replacing it when I want to serve guests but for just me it is a one stop shop.

Excellent Countertop RO + Sparkling Water, With a Few Quirks
This is the only product we found that met both of our main requirements: Countertop reverse osmosis Built-in sparkling water dispenser Overall, it does a solid job at both. The water tastes great, and the sparkling water has a good level of carbonation—no complaints there. The hot water feature is also a nice bonus and is faster and more convenient than pulling out a kettle when you just want a single cup of tea. Our main complaint is how the sparkling water reservoir replenishes. If you pour a large glass and leave only a small amount of sparkling water in the machine, it will not start replenishing until all of the sparkling water is used up. This means the next person may only get a partial glass and then has to wait 1–2 minutes for it to recharge. This behavior happens even if several hours pass between uses, which feels like a design oversight. I’m also skeptical of the advertised 3:1 pure-to-waste water ratio. Based on how much water we see flowing through the waste line, it appears closer to the opposite—roughly a 1:3 pure-to-waste ratio. For anyone wondering: it’s easy to connect this unit to a larger CO₂ tank using an adapter. We did this and ran the hose into a cabinet to keep the tank hidden, which works great. One unexpected discovery: while using a third-party smart-home app, the Brio Q60 was detected and exposed a full control interface (TDS readings, filter life, modes, firmware versions, etc.), despite Brio not advertising any app or Wi-Fi functionality. This suggests the hardware supports smart features that aren’t documented or officially supported in the U.S. market. It doesn’t affect normal operation, but it was surprising.

Not ready for the big leagues!
Hold off on buying this! This is product is a great idea but has many incredibly annoying issues. I hope to circle back and write a in depth review. Here are the main faults in my first week. To pour a glass of water requires 3 presses on the touchscreen. Sounds silly but it's a poor design. Top left of screen, then one of three sizes, then bottom right of screen. Zero chance you're doing this without looking. A better user interface could fix this with a customizable preset button. The user interface could not have been beta tested! It is rough. Clearly written in Chinese and translated..... Poorly. 2 error codes come on intermittently and without a clear cause. " Water shortage of pure water tank" and " water shortage of raw water tank" I have spent 2 hours on it without success. There's not an option to leave the screen on. Guest to your home will not be able to figure out how to use it. Intuitively. And forget about kids figuring this out. CO2 tank not included. I wish I at least was recommended to me at checkout. Perhaps the biggest issue, is this does not have the ability to connect to Wi-Fi. Which means most likely there is no chance of improvement or updates of any kind. I will circle back, after the holidays and decided if we are keeping this in our home.

Countertop Water Dispenser by Brio
This water dispenser feels like a commercial product for your home. It’s very easy to set up and use, the touchscreen is a very modern and sophisticated touch, the water tastes pure, and honestly, it’s just a really cool thing to have at your disposal when you need various versions of water. This can either use water you fill in a tank or can be connected to your water line directly. Once you set it up, you will need to run a filter cleaning. Make sure you put cups under both spigots as water will come out of both (thank you to a previous reviewer)! From here, you can set up things like preferred water temperature for cold water, choose preset hot water temperatures, choose sparkling water options, etc. You get basically every variation of water that you would ever want in your home. The water dispenses very smoothly, and while you need to choose preset measurements (in mL of all things) you can always stop it mid dispensing if you are about to overflow your container. There are lights underneath the spigots that turn on when in use. The touchscreen makes this feel so sophisticated. Choosing options is a breeze and there is a little chime to indicate you have chosen your option. You also can see the temperature of the cold water and the filter’s life right on screen. Speaking of filters, I always like to look at the cost of the replacement filters before I get a product like this. From Brio’s website, the replacement filter (Brio Multi-Stage RO Filter 200GPD-Q60 Dispenser) currently sells for $149.99. “Depending on the quality of source water, lasts up to 528 gallons or 24 months”. So as long as the filters last the full duration, the filters are not terribly expensive at just $75 a year. If you plan to use A LOT of water, the replacement filters could become an issue (Black Friday sale this year has the filter for $99.99). The only real issues that I see is that setting the date and time is a hassle and the measurements are in milliliters without any way to change the measurements to empirical measurements (at least from what I could tell). Otherwise, this is compact enough to not take up a ton of room on your countertop and just has a great look to it. Overall, this is actually a really useful and well made countertop dispenser that feels commercial grade for home use. It is very easy to use and works really well while providing clean tasting water. You get any temperature of water you would ever want while the cold water can be set to your liking. You can also insert a CO2 tank which is adjustable for fizzy water. It’s just a slick looking device for convenient and sophisticated water dispensing.
