Easy Swaging for Crimped Primer Pockets
Once setup this little gem actually does what you need it to do without any fuss (after you fuss with it for setup). The spring-loaded case mount rod does not really load the case into position without help from your finger to get it into place but that is a minor complaint. However, if you do NOT get it into position you might be trying to swage the rim of the case and break something. You'll get the hang of it once you start. Adjusting for more clearance would allow for auto-mounting but it would NOT be in the correct position for the length of the STROKE of the ram. Once you accept that reality, the entire unit seems strong enough for many years of use, the primer pocket ram works fine (you could smooth it up by polishing it up with wet-or-dry fine sandpaper or fine grit polishing compound if you want a professional type looking job) Easy to use, load and quite fast. I mounted it to a 12x12 board and clamp the whole shebang to my bench when needed. I like it.

Great Primer Swager
I've only had this product for a few days but have used it a lot in those few days. Read all the reviews of the spring breaking and once I had the unit in my hands I found that the unit can still be used without that spring. The spring that has been reported to break is to pull the case up so the swager can actually swage the primer pocket. You can do that by hand and in fact I have found that you need to do that anyway if you want the swage pin to go fully into the primer pocket. Once broken in it might work as advertised but new, and with the case holder pin adjusted so the swager pin goes all the way into the primer pocket, the case holder pin gets hit by the swager pin before it goes fully into position. So I use my left hand to push the case into position. Even if that main spring breaks you can still push the case holder pin into position and adding a few rubber bands it will push the case holder pin out once the swaging is done. All in all I think this is a great unit for the money. Half the cost of a Dillon (at least from Amazon) and has some automatic features that the Dillon does not. The housing is thick and strong. I clamp it to either my loading bench or to a table I have in the room I load in. Haven't had to worry about the rear 2 mounting holes as clamped properly on the side wings holds the unit securely. I'm swaging mainly pistol brass, 9mm, and have wrapped black electrical tape around the large case holder pin so it lines up better with the primer hole to swager pin. If I need that case holder pin for some other case I can either remove the tape or add to it. All in all it was worth the cost. Now waiting for the spring to break. EDIT: Tonight, 12/04/2023, the spring broke. Only ran about 300-500 9mm cases through it over the last 2 weeks Now contacting FA for a replacement spring. (Or new unit) Still a good product. EDIT 2: Contacted FA (Outdoor Brands) on the 4th of December (day the spring broke) and got an email back that day with a case number. Replied to that email with pictures of the unit and broken spring. I call them on the 8 to check on the status of the case and was told I have a new unit shipped out. Still waiting. EDIT 3: It is now January 16th 2024. Still no new unit or replacement spring. Called Outdoor Brands, Frankford Arsenal, twice last week and asked for a call back. NO Call Back. Just about ready to send this unit back to Amazon for a refund. I have unit the 31st of Jan 2024 to do this.

Buy the Dillon unit if you need this for 30-06
Works well on 5.56 and 7.62x51 but can't do 30-06 brass. I bought this specifically to remove the crimp from several hundred Lake City cartridges, only to find that it's not tall enough to accommodate 30-06. I procrastinated in getting it mounted to my quick change plate and missed my window to return it. Should have spent the extra $30 and just bought the Dillon unit, ah well.

Then got one heck of a deal on some great stuff. 9 bags
I'm not a professional reloader, but I've reloaded near 50,000 rounds since mid-November 2017. Yeah, 50 thousand. Been doing it since I was 10, making spending money working in my dad's gun shop in the mid-70's. Not new to it at all...but just got the real bug a few months ago. Stuff just kept building up over the years until I had to do something about all the components. After a few months, I ran out of everything. 9, 45, 40, 223/556, 308…ran out of everything. Had to restock. Powder, primers I already had. Equipment, yup...got that too. Just needed to restock. Then got one heck of a deal on some great stuff. 9 bags...4500 55gr Hornady bullets for $250 shipped. Yeah, I got lucky. I got somewhere near 5000 once fired nickel plated .223. Cost me $125 shipped. Yeah, I got lucky again. After popping out a primer, found out why I got them so cheap....crimped in primer. Even though I have the RCBS case prep station, I didn't want to ream out each one. It's a pita holding those small cases with enough pressure to grind out the crimp....5000 times. Figured the Frankford Arsenal swage was the cheapest, fastest and easiest way to get it all done. Had the Dillon in the cart....chose this to save $15 in shipping and a week’s wait. Placed the order Monday night, swage showed up Wednesday afternoon. Was impressed with the size and weight of the swage. Felt very heavy and looked pretty solid. Took my time mounting it. Ran a die across my 4 mounting bolts, measured and drilled the holes in the bench. Bolted that bad boy down. Flipped over the large/small swage pin to small (came with the large ready to use). Installed and adjusted the small anvil. Excellent. LET’S GET READY TO RUMBLE!!!! 4 rounds perfect. Tested seating a primer...smoother than grinding out the pocket with the RCBS and fully supported around the primer. Excellent! I'm stoked! Only 4996 left to go....5th round..., snap. Wouldn't come back down. WTH? Unbolted it from the bench, looked at the back. Something didn't feel right, looser than before. Then I saw it. Housing around the swage carrier snapped in half. This is the casting itself, not some simple send me a replacement part and we’re back in business. The whole thing is toast. 5 rounds rendered it unusable. Back in the box, label printed and refund pending return shipment. I put the Dillon back in the cart and pressed ‘order’. Lost 3 days to save a shipping charge. Won’t make that mistake again. Great idea, works beautifully. Just can’t use cast aluminum as a stressed member.

Broken spring FIX! Great after some minor tweaks and adjustments...
Like others stated, mine came way out of adjustment. The spring adjustment in the rear was too loose. You'll need to remove two C clips, pull the pin, remove the large spring, and tighten both i bolts almost all the way in. Doing this allowed the brass holder to swing in more and not get caught. Once I made this adjustment it runs well. Seems to be built very well. Update: Spring broke after about 200 rounds. I contacted Frankford who offered to replace the entire unit when more came in stock, that was over six months ago. Still appears to be OOS. In the meantime I found a spring that replaces the original and works better. Great swage press to remove military crimp
I bought this as I have several thousand pieces of military brass that need the crimp removed. This is the fastest way to do it. Assembly is easy. Press come with both size primer pocket swagers. While the instructions only say it will do .223/5.56 & .308/7.62x51 brass I was able to adjust the large pocket swagger height and use this to remove the primer crimp from military 30.06/7.62x63 brass. This is a great tool and I am working my way through all my brass now at a tremendous speed. It is so much faster than doing this on the press with a swage die or cuttingbthe crimp out with a case prep tool. I have done both and I prefer this method now and doubt I ever go back to the other ways.

Great product support
Works very easy and smooth. Spring broke after swaging 800rds. Company sent a whole new one, not just a spring, within 7 days.

Works great!
There were apparently issues with earlier models breaking, or loading alignment issues, however I have to say this works flawlessly, great addition to my reloading equipment and a must have for range brass. I now run all brass thru it, new, even the expensive stuff as well as purchased used and free old picked up range brass. I have had primer loading issues with every kind of brass, even when using a primer reamer, which can actually damage the brass by over reaming it, this is a much better solution.
