My child's summer camp requires a "back sack" style bag for pool days. We bought this back sack 2 years ago and my daughter has used it for 2 summers. It has held up so well, so I just ordered one for my son to use when he starts camp this summer. The straps are thick and durable nylon, not those shoestring thin ropes that most back sacks have which are prone to tangling and are uncomfortable on your shoulders. Plus, the length is adjustable. The bag is roomy. Unlike most back sacks, this one has an extra panel of fabric on the bottom which makes the back so much more spacious. My daughter has no trouble fitting a beach towel, swim shoes, goggles, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and water bottle with room to spare. There are bottle pockets on both sides and a spacious zipper pocket inside which make this so much more functional than other back sacks. And the bottle pockets are large enough to fit her contigo water bottles which aren't super slim. Aside from camp, we also use this bag for field trips and other various things. I highly recommend this bag!

This has been a good pool bag for my son. Holds his shoes, clothes, towel & sunscreen with extra room (I have a toddler). He can carry it easily himself. It is water resistant inside and outside. I do prefer rope or braided straps better than these....

I adore these bags for our quick trip needs for my toddlers. There are cup holders on each side, and a zipper pocket on the inside large enough to put keys or maybe smaller items you wish not to lose in the bag. the draw strings are so much more comfortable than the standard "strings". These are thicker and way more sturdy. Recommend!

So This bag is great. good material, well made. Plastic clasps are way better than the metal ones out there. Compared to other bags (draw-strap), this is smaller, a bit. Definitely a kid's bag. But that works for me. You can fit a ball in here for sure if that's what you're after. I was able to fit a Nalgene in the side pocket (but it's gonna make it hang crooked because not counter-weighted). That wasn't my goal but good to know. For me this bag is perfect - just a daypack for travel, folds up to nothing and you have something to carry some water, jacket, snacks, stuff you buy, etc. Fits plenty. I'd say for this purpose larger than this and I'd want a real backpack anyway. So I'm happy. Oh there's a pocket inside, hangs/dangles from the top. Zippered. Can fit phone, wallet, and more - pretty big actually. Pretty big, the shape of a business envelope but bigger.

Day camp bag for my kids. Fits all the things: 32oz water bottle, standard size lunch box/bag, towel (non-bulky/slim/thinner), change of clothes, goggles, sun screen. The zip pockets and outside pockets help keep everything organized. Water resistant material for quick drying after holding wet things. Would purchase again! It’s going to get us through at least this summer and hopefully a few more after this.
