The best mint chips to bake with!

I have been baking the Christmas cookie year round for many years. It is a favorite of my family. I usually have to male them some. The flavor is wonderful, tasting the butter and the peppermint the most and adding a little taste of some nuts and cocoanut. Years ago, I could find the bags of peppermint chips in our grocery stores, but they no longer carry the product. I am so glad that I can still get them from the "Candy Store" on line.

Well, let me see it could’ve been package better. One full package was completely melted. Still, I can still use it for baking, so it’s OK.

The Andes website has great recipes; can be used for more than peppermint bark. The coffee/chocolate cookies are a hit. These chips are not available year round at stores, so buy them when you can get them - they store on your shelf for ~a year. They have a more subtle tast than the 'mint chips' that are green. Yummy!

I could not find these in the store. It was nice when I could order them from Amazon. I like keeping them in the freezer and able to have them on on hand when I make a cheese cake dessert.

I bought these for a class project and I am overjoyed with the quality.

I wanted to find peppermint chips that had the same consistency as chocolate chips, not crushed peppermint. These are the ONLY products I could find and they are AWESOME. I almost hesitated to leave a review because I wanted to keep this secret all to myself so they don't run out! Crushed peppermint just hurts my teeth, so I was surprised I couldn't easily find these in the market. We use these for hot chocolate and in our coffee. The melt easily too, so they are perfect! I only found these at target and Amazon. At target they were reasonably priced, on Amazon, too pricey, but I bought them anyway because I ran out and that's how great they are!
