Mountain Warehouse Adventurer Womens Waterproof Hiking Boots

My original order got lost in transit (thanks FedEx, hate them lol), but I messaged the seller as soon as I was aware of the loss and they were quick to respond. So very apologetic on behalf of FedEx, and for my dismay with the delay. They confirmed with me that I still wanted the boots (I ordered another from a different company so I could try a couple of options), and they shipped them out the next day. Within the week I received the replacement boots. Outstanding customer service, and excellent communication!About the boots, I ordered the bluish grey ones with the coral details, and when I say the item image is exactly what you get.... I don't think I've ever really seem colors that match EXACTLY as the Amazon image presented 😂 I mean it's exact. And I LOVE the color combination. I was concerned about ANY boot fitting too tightly around my foot (I have wide feet), but these actually fit perfectly for wide feet, so that's another big win. I wear a 7 and the 7 got me perfectly, so also true to size. As with most new shoes, I was expecting some amount of discomfort in the initial wear until I got them broken in, but I've just walked a local bridge in 94° with 76% humidity using wool socks for about 2 miles and my feet don't hurt in the slightest. I bought these for an upcoming trip out to Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce, Arches, Canyonlands, etc, and I'm really excited to have found a pair of hiking boots that fit well and didn't break the bank. Thank you so much!!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE A NOVICE HIKER (I've done quite a bit of hiking and backpacking through Torres del Paine, Appalachian trails, canyons, etc, these are the most comfortable boots I've ever owned).

These waterproof were a last minute purchase before a week of fishing in the Canadian Bush. I had rain boots, but saw these and took a chance on these since they would arrive the day before I departed. WOW! They were a perfect fit. I did not have to wear them for several days to break them in; they were ready to go.I wore them fishing for over 8 hours for 5 days straight and my feet never got wet nor did I have any pain. I was first attracted to them because of the price, but expected them to be somewhat cheaply made. I was wrong about that as well. As long as you are not going to be in water over the boots, the are 100% waterproof. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a stylish waterproof boot. The only downside I could see is the width. A previous review said they ran wide. I have long narrow feet, so they were a little on the wide side, but did not make that much difference to me at all.

I’ve probably put 100 miles on these since I bought them last year and they are still holding up pretty well.Pros: Inexpensive, roomy, waterproof, good traction, doesn’t make my feet hot, not heavy, not falling apart, good ankle support.Cons: Thin sole, no arch support, not much cushioning. Even with adding an insert, I can still feel every rock I step on. My plantar fasciitis always flares up after wearing. Maybe I need a better insert.Overall a great starter boot for beginning hikers who don’t want to spend a fortune on boots yet.

I ordered this product for the price point along with the amount of stars. Once ordered I read through the reviews and was nervous for them to fit and also the quality. I AM SO PLEASED with not only the quality of the boots but also how comfortable they are! I am typically a size 8, which is what I ordered and they fit PERFECT. They are very lightweight and comfortable! The quality is great especially considering the price, I am very happy with them. The color is as expected as well. I look forward to many hikes with these boots! Definitely recommend! :)

Growing up, I remember there was always that one adult watching--no, waiting--like a hawk anticipating the moment when it could swoop down and strike its prey, screeching all the way, "Tie your shoelaces!" Naturally, as a kid, who will almost without a doubt always be a kid, I placated the harpy dismissing their wisdom.Now, as an adult, I realize how important it is to fasten those laces. Any orthopedic surgeon or podiatrist will agree. Properly tied shoes provide a number of benefits from alleviating pressure points, minimizing blisters and bruising, and supporting your arches.That being said, I walk... a lot. That means I go through shoes... a lot. As such, finding a reasonably-priced, durable shoe can be difficult, hence my reason for purchasing these boots. And while they are durable for every day wear-and-tear in numerous weather conditions, my main gripe is concerning its eyelets. They're a lot like webbing eyelets but metal.(And yes, that's what they're called. I looked it up.)No matter how I tried, I couldn't fasten the laces securely. The eyelet design doesn't provide sufficient slip and pull to tighten the laces so my feet have a lot of room to move. Also, during my efforts, the laces broke. It would have been a better design to have D-ring or hooked eyelets which would have provided better slack.They'll suffice for now until I've sufficiently worn them out but rest assured I won't be making the same mistake twice.Meanwhile, keep walking, stay safe, and be excellent!

Purchased these for my Mother and she loves them. No complaints.

Perfect fit, & very supportive of ankles. Color looks great, tread is good. Highly recommend this brand if you’re on a budget & want good quality for hiking!
