Great product
This is pretty good stuff and has a lot of uses. I've been using it for a long time. Bonds pretty well to most surfaces and fills gaps, but doesn't set up rock hard and allows a little bit of flexibility. You need clean surfaces and it's best to let it set up for about ten minutes or so before sticking things together. You want it tacky but not skinned over. More forgiving than contact cement and you can move things around a bit after glueing together. Won't replace every gluing application, but is handy for repair of a lot of construction type materials. Works well on masonry as long as you make sure to brush off any loose material first. It isn't recommended for sheet goods or flooring, but it will work pretty well for securing a loose floor tile or similar application. Takes a good 24 - 48 hrs to get to full bonding strength depending on how thickly it's applied. On vertical surfaces, some type of bracing or other way to keep pressure on it will yield the best results. On wood panelling, I like to use it in conjunction with brad nailer to keep the panel tight as it cures. For big jobs you can get it in caulking type tubes, But the can is convenient for small jobs and repairs. It is handy to have around and as long as you seal the can well, it will keep for a very long time. There are other products for specific applications that may work a little better and if you need a fast set time, this isn't the stuff. But for a single product that works pretty well in a lot of apllications, it's pretty good stuff.

Great Stuff
I have used this product for years for everything from repairing earrings, shoes, plastic storage tubs and furniture to gluing an outdoor sculpture of a pelican on a wooden piling. The pelican has withstood several hurricanes and is still standing tall! Before I discovered that Liquid Nails came in clear I was using the white version, but I find the clear one is so much easier to use as it dries almost invisible. Keeping a tube of this in the house at all times is a MUST for me!

The best

Great for strengthening a connection, but I wouldn't trust it as a sole method of joining wood together.
Instructions say to let adhesive sit for 10 minutes to gain tackiness before bonding two surfaces together, with twenty minutes working time. Mine sat for about 7 minutes before parts of it started to dry (conditions: outdoors, about 80 degrees, mixture of shade/sunshine). Definitely keep an eye on it! That said, when I did have to pull two pieces that I'd glued together apart, I was able to do so by using a screw driver to pry them apart. However, they probably would've held fine with just the glue (two 3-foot sections of wood, for reference).

non self-leveling solution
Liquid Nails LN207 is not a self-leveling glue. It stays where I put it. So Liquid Nails LN207 is my go-to glue for when I need top-notch clear silicon-like adhesive. Despite its strong adhesive qualities after it has dried and cured, I can usually remove it with a putty knife. I use E6000 when I need the glue to follow the lines of gravity and pool at the lowest spot. It is a great adhesive but the self-leveling quality has worked against me a few times. Of the two, Liquid Nails LN207 is the adhesive I use 9 out of 10 times.

worked well on stainless steel
I used it to glue a pretty heavy stainless steel panel to my refrigerator. only issue was I didn't get the adhesive close enough to the sides, so there was a little gap. not a problem to fill on top and back. still figuring out how to fix it in the front where people can see it. 5 stars for working well, though.
