Really great flavour! Subtle, not too overpowering
Worked great and produced a good deal of smoke. Some tips I would recommend on using - use boiling water to soak the chips for at least 15 minutes before adding to your BBQ. If you soak in cold water they will cause the temperature to drop in your BBQ. These chips produce a lovely earthy BBQ flavour to your meat. I used for chicken but would work with beef too. Highly recommended.

Decent wood chip but I prefer the flavour of Hickory. Still I like this flavour and would buy it again.

Delicious
Tried my new smoking box with these wood chips. My first time smoking food properly. I left them soaking for two days due to not using them on the planned day. I put the smoking box containing the wood chips in the middle of the coals (directly onto them). It took about 5 - 10 mins for the wood to start smoking by which time I placed the sausages onto the grill above and placed the lid of my weber kettle barbecue back on. As you can see, the sausages are smoked to a lovely golden colour and tasted as good as they look.

Die Weber Buchenholz Räucherchips liefern ein tolles, intensives Aroma – genau das, was man sich für perfektes Grillen wünscht! Die Qualität ist top. Ein kleiner Hinweis: Ich persönlich finde, die Chips könnten etwas kleiner gehäckselt sein, da ich damit bessere Erfahrungen gemacht habe. Aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau – insgesamt absolut empfehlenswert für alle, die authentischen Rauchgeschmack lieben!

Je trouve le goût des aliments moyens, un peu acres. J'ai été surprise de ne pas retrouver le goût de fumé comme je m'attendais . Mais c'est peut-être ma faute, car j'ai acheté ces copeaux pour mon air fryer qui fait aussi fonction fumoir et il faut de tout petits copeaux, or ceux-ci sont beaucoup trop gros , alors le soir en écoutant des podcasts, je découpe des petits copeaux dans ces copeaux , ça m'amuse, mais je voulais les essayer . Alors, est-ce que je n'ai pas fait assez petit, ou est-ce que j'en ai mis trop, je ne sais pas, toujours est-il, j'ai été un peu déçue du goût . Donc mon cas n'est peut-être pas à prendre en compte pour un fumoir normal
