They worked out great so far 2006 Silverado 4.8 Be aware they make a lot of chatter at first start up at least for me. Noise lasted about a few seconds. 2nd time it made a even louder knock/ lifter noise. I shut off my engine started it again and went silent better then ever. So far so good. I would recommend and purchase another set.

The product looks to be a good GM replacement lifter. I see there is some questionable reviews on this product. The trays have the GM part number. And the product was shipped in the company package. The lifters were shipped in oil, and they look to be correct for the LS7 application.

All there parts are the best quality I’m running a lot of parts in my engine and yes I’ve put them to the test I’m Running texas speed camshaft, heavy springs and supercharged with great oil pressure and there still rockin so don’t hesitate to buy anything from Michigan motor sports

My 2006 GMC Sierra 2500 HD 6.0 has 280,000 miles on it. At startup it was a clacker!!!! It then started happening on the freeway all the time. Finally decided to fix the problem. My engine purrs like a kitten now. My sure to get new engine head bolts and new exhaust bolts. Soaked the lifters while I was opening up the engine. Michigan Motorsports was fantastic!!! They answered my email quickly and were very helpful.

Lasted less than 80 miles before suddenly heard loud clanking on the passenger side of the engine. Pulled valve cover and found a rocker arm sitting sideways and no pushrod. Fished the pieces of the broken pushrod out with a magnet and checked with a borescope. Found cracked lifter tray from this kit (Fasteners for lifter trays also torqued correctly). Pushrods were correct length and valve lash set properly. Had good oil pressure until this suddenly happened..

The pins that hold the roller seem to be offset from center on lots of lifters.

Advertised as LS7 lifters but highly doubt they are GM parts. No visual concerns with quality and all these lifters are pretty much just called LS7 lifters nowadays anyway... still false advertising if they are not. They took quite a while to ship as well and it wasn't free shipping. Would love to hear Mich Motorsports reply if these are actual GM parts or not...?
