The dosage is 2mg which is apt for beginners who are trying to alter their sleep schedule or maybe going through periods of insomnia due to stress. I usually sleep in about 20-30 minutes after having one of these. It relaxes the system, makes you drowsy and and your eyes would get heavy and you're off to sleep. I experienced no side effects of drowsiness or lethargy the next day except the first day I tried these. You wake up refreshed and it's great aid to fix minor sleep issues. I wouldn't recommend these for people with chronic sleep issues as the doses for sleep issues are way higher than these and only prescribed by a doctor.
