!!! PLEASE READ !!! *im not a licensed cosmetologist and these tips are from a certified and licensed cosmetologist who has experience in Brazilian keratin treatments* Things to consider before purchasing this product: - it is a strong product and WILL produce strong fumes and chemicals making eyes water, nose/throat to hurt - it does require high temperature to activate the “straightening ingredients” so you will need a flat iron that reaches 450 and above (amazon has good and cheap ones) - it is strongly recommended to do a strand test to see if your hair can take it TIPS: - Leaving more than the required time OR over-saturating it won’t make your hair more straighter - important to go in with the flat iron sectioning thin strands at a time and go through a few times - you can wash hair right after finished BUT it is important to blow dry (or apply heat) to hair after first wash so chemicals settle in and give a better finish - like any other treatment your hair will need some extra care, so it’s good to do a hair mask or some restoring treatment with no harsh/strong chemicals - the treatment might make colored hair fade a lot Here is how I did my process (pictured above is before and after third wash) 1. Wash hair with clarifying shampoo (no conditioner) 2. Blow dry 80% of hair 3. Using gloves apply step 2 evenly on hair, making sure to comb off excess product 4. Wait the recommend time (10 minutes) 5. Blow dry hair - this is the worst part when it comes to fumes so I put on face-mask (Covid mask) and made sure not to let hair fall over my face because it makes my eyes burn 6. After blow drying 100% I did flat iron on 490F fine/thin strands 7. Done ** my hair had a lot of chemic damage from having a perm to coloring and bleaching, so I was extra careful. My results are not 100% because on step 6 I did not go over the same strand more than twice, but it is still very good and pin straight. The only thing that I dislike is that it made my hair quite fine and thin but since I had done so much stuff I don’t blame this product. Overall I would recommend it if you have natural curly or extremely frizzy and puffy hair. Make sure to do research and watch YouTube videos before using it

I like how this product “calms down” my coarse and frizzy hair. Before took me 40 min to blow dry my hair. After Portier, I could let my hair air dry without heat and finalize the ends with my Revlon hair brush. In 5 minutes, my hair is ready! I w to tell you I was concerned about the expiration date. I saw ppl complaining about the seller erase the date. That’s not true, the product is good for use and what happens is the exp date scratches inside the product box as you can see in the photo. Bottles arrived sealed and protected from leaking. Product has its typical Brazilian keratin strong smell, burn the eyes a little bit so i recommend use it in a open space with ventilation or have a fan to avoid staying in a room with the fume (it’s normal from this kind of product). Also, I suggest avoid product touching the scalp, the reason some reviewers comment dandruff it’s because they put product in the scalp, it can be irritating. If you are very sensitive avoid the product.
