Texture is different, flavor is good.
I like all of them, my hubby not so much. My palate is much more accepting of flavor and texture. They tend to be a bit rubbery, but after all they are beans remade into noodles. Good with any sauce or meat. Not as easy to over cook as grain noodles, nor mushy if you do. It doesn’t take a lot to make a full dish. Again, I like them and they are much healthier for me. Keeps the carb count down.

Delicious and full of protein
Hard to believe that this pasta has only one ingredients. Very tasty, easy to make, and satisfying.

These are fantastic!
So I was expecting a less than stellar product here. I was attracted to the health features of course, and I have wheat issues so I'm gluten free. I thought why not? I read the reviews, people had concerns about the texture (I have texture issues!) but I found the texture and flavor to be awesome! They cook in 5 minute. The package says rinse in cool water at the end of the cooking cycle, so I did and wow! Honestly a great gluten free pasta, which I have missed! LOVE these noodles! I can throw together a little sauce while they cook to top them and it's a wonderful, healthy meal.

Really interesting!!
Look, if you're gluten-free, you've tried a million mediocre pastas. This one is expensive, but you're getting something really interesting for it. The taste is quite nice! Noticeably different, but not intrusive. I don't see a huge difference between the flavors of the various beans. Texture is a little different, but taste remains fairly neutral. Texture is good, better than many GF products, but you DEFINITELY want to cook minimally. Better to chew a little extra than risk mush. Each box makes quite a bit, as it expands a lot in cooking: maybe as much as 4 servings per box? It always makes more than I expect when I put it in the pot. AND... you're getting a ton of protein and fiber, with an extremely low glycemic index, and it maybe even counts as Keto? Yes, it costs more than regular pasta. But for once, you're getting more as well. If you can afford it, it's worth a try.

Great healthy product
We use this product to cut down on carbs and increase protein. Texture and flavor better than garbanzo. Only issue for us is it is made in China. Organic certification by third party.

pricing and selection mix is not what I want. spaghetti is more versatile in Asian cuisine
Title: Misleading Price Per Ounce — Needs Correction Review: I love the concept of The Only Bean - Soy, Black Bean, and Edamame Pasta, and the noodles themselves are high quality, organic, and tasty. However, the listing claims $0.45 per ounce, which is simply not true. Here’s the math: the pack is 6 x 8 oz = 48 oz. At $28.99, the actual cost is $0.60 per ounce. That’s a 33% higher price per ounce than advertised. This misleading pricing gives the product an unfair advantage over other similar gluten-free, high-protein pastas that are actually better value. I personally skipped buying this twice because of this discrepancy. The product deserves attention for its quality, but the price-per-ounce should be corrected. Transparency matters — it allows customers to compare fairly and make informed decisions.

#1 Option for Gluten Free Pasta Choice !
Got the Variety Pack so that I could try all 3 types. The texture of all 3, if you follow the cooking instructions, is spot on. Al-dente, just like regular pasta. The taste is spot on also. If you didn't know it, you'd think you were eating wheat pasta. I do have to mention though, I cannot seem to get past the color on the Black Bean pasta. It tastes just fine but it is just too colorful for me. The green cooks up so light that when you put pasta sauce on it you can't even tell it's green. The Soy cooks up to look just like regular pasta. ...but the Black Bean stays black. Even though it tastes fine, I wouldn't serve it to company (or my husband). I highly recommend this as a substitute to wheat pasta. I will be buying the Soy and Edamame varieties again.
