I looked for such a thing for very long time. Here where I live we have very strong rains in winter season and then all my bag and work stuff in it gets wet and it is soo frustrating. So I looked for something to cover it during the rain and found only rain covers for backpacks. Only not long ago I found this rain cover ( and it is in few sizes!) and bought it immediately. It fits great to my big bag and also looks nice, fashionable, can be foldable and put in the bag. Its little bit sturdy so will not flow in the wind. Im very happy from the purchase and can't wait to use it!

i am one of those people who won’t wear certain things in certain weather and my bags and shoes are no exception. but i can’t control mother nature and so i bought this for those unpredictable days. i bought the size medium and it is perfect for my needs. i bought it for my chanel jumbo XL flap which is like 13” long and it is perfect. i also tried it on my two louis vuitton alma GMs which are about 15.25” and although it fit them snugly, this rain cover does not play nice with patent leather and took me forever to get it off (it adheres too much to the patent coating). so if your bag is patent leather and big, either get the large size or something else or you’ll be fighting it every time you use it. since i’m only using this with my chanel, i sewed the corners down like i showed in the pic (what it looks like before and after it’s sewn) because i don’t want any chance of a drop of rain falling through the top. i chose this cover for 2 reasons: the size and also its shape. when it’s rainy and windy you do not want a rain cover that is too wide at the bottom and can flap around in the wind, you want it to stay put. this is perfect. and i may look a little silly with a bag on my bag but that’s ok with me bc my chanel is protected!!!

I ordered this for my Marc Jacobs large tote to carry on a plane. It worked perfectly, staying put and thick enough to protect. It is very clear and doesn't look crazy. It would be great for rain to protect a tote bag.

I bought this to use with my Nena & Co CDB/Perfect Bag. I thought it would be a good fit but it was a tight squeeze. I would recommend going up a size if you want to use this one with that large of a bag.

The material is not as high quality as the prior one that I bought at The Container Store. I searched for that one but appears the company is no longer in business. But found this one on Amazon. It is adequate to do the job.

Works as advertised. Didn't know that the bottom is open. I must not have read closely. It's okay, but I would have preferred one that had a closed base so it would be protected if set on the ground. No fault of the maker just preference. It cover laptop briefcase perfectly.

I got the large one because reviews said it ran small. I have a real leather purse so needed it to protect it from the rain. I like that it has a little bag I can keep this in my purse for every day use because it rains a lot wear I live. I like it.
