Works great, and no, the power cord does not need to be unplugged from the lamp in order for it to go on. The light is bright enough to light up my shed and not overpowering. It's not a floodlight but enough to see where you are walking. Good light and the price is very good.

Lights work good. I use mine for motion detection purposes around my property. Serves my needs. Only issue I have is the cord from the light to the solar panel. Way too long and bulky for my needs but feeling with it. I have decided to cut and shorten the cord on a few of the lights. Do a good connection and waterproof the joint and they work great. Gives off sufficient light when activated. Recommend if you are in the market for solar security lights

This is being written several weeks after my first very critical, negative one star review. Upon receipt of these lights, I was upset because I had erroneously concluded that a remote came with them. Simply put, I had mixed up my reviews before I ordered. These lights did not claim to come with a remote. My error and my apologies. The lights are terrific. They charge easily even in limited sun. I have dropped them on a cement floor, left them upside down in a rainstorm, fill covered them with wet insulation from a burned storage metal building, and abused them far beyond normal expected use. They continue to function well. For the price I find them one of the Best Buy's that I have made in a long time.

bought for my shed. plenty bright to light up the front entry and even gives some light inside when your looking in the dark. motion detection works perfect. great for the money, and set up is easy

Love these lights. Ease to use. Installation was easy after you figure to place the solar panel and the light. Not as bright as I would lke but enough to see.

I liked it. Was responsive and bright enough for purpose BUT I am not sure how I feel about it lasting me less than a year. I bought it just last this time last year and I noticed it wasn’t working about 2 weeks ago, the line broke. Other problem was one worked and the other didn’t

Great build, seems so far to be good product, I took one star as these are not as bright as they indicate in photos. Each of these gets a good bright area over a small area, good for over a door, but to indicated they will fully brightly light any decent area. Description says 676 sq ft area. I have a 14x14 patio (196 sq foot) and 2 of these light up that are, but no where would I call it "bright" I tried getting a photo, but my phone wa overcompensates low light, so on screen it looks way brighter than it does to naked eye...

It worked great. I put it in my backyard beside my shed with the setting of dimmed lighting when no motion and bright light when motion detected. The shed is under a tree so doesn’t get a lot of sunlight but with the long wire connection to solar panel, I am able to install the panel further away where there is direct sunlight. The light is bright when motion is detected. Happy with my purchase.

Le prix est plus que raisonnable le modèle est très simple compact, mais au premier regard les supports de fixation sont de très très mauvaises qualités, sûrement sur un modèle plus performant derrière on peut voir le moulage de deux batteries mais elle n'en possède seulement une, mais jusqu'à maintenant il fonctionne bien la détection est parfaite mais j'aurais aimé un tout petit peu plus d'intensité lumineuse mais je crois à la durée de vie de ce produit car il est fait simple j'ai tout de même acheté 8 de ces articles donc j'espère qu'ils ne vont pas lâcher après 1 an d'utilisation.

I’ve installed only one of them, but it’s been working great so far. We didn’t want something overly bright, and this is perfect. Our backyard gets really dark at the back, and it’s nice to see where the dog is from the window.
