After seeing a mention of these probiotics in an article about dental/oral health, I searched for and found these. This probiotic strain (M18) was specifically developed to be benign bacteria and to improve the microbiome in people's mouths. These bacteria do not produce the acids or other substances that promote tooth decay, gum inflammation, and so forth. They actually tend to inhibit the presence of some of the "bad" bacteria. I am cautious about taking pills and trying various things that are touted as improving one's health. So I looked up some of the research studies in medical journals that tested whether or not M18 did what it is supposed to do. Of the several journal articles I found, M18 consistently was found to decrease the occurrence of tooth decay in children and adults. So I bought these and tried them. I've often had some inflammation and bleeding of my gums when having my teeth cleaned and sometimes even just during routine brushing. After using these probiotics my dental hygienist has commented about not finding any blood or gum inflammation at all when cleaning my teeth. So these probiotic tablets are doing what they say they do. Highly recommended.

I did notice that it helped with my breath in the morning! I've been searching for quality products online for teeth, gums & to help maintain healthy bones. So far I believe it has helped in canceling out bad bacteria with their beneficial bacteria. I took it faithfully & maintained my usual consistent brushing after each meal & flossing! Great product!

I decided to use these just at night and I noticed a slight difference, nothing to write home about. Then I got into yogurt making and worse have decided to check all my probiotics by culturing them. I made a batch of very strong yogurt using this and suddenly my teeth are clean, I'm brushing them because that's what we all do but I don't feel I need to. I've always had a problem with tartar build up with my front teeth, since I started with this yogurt a week ago the tartar cleaned itself out....I'm just amazed blown away. Granted the other change I made is eating prebiotics with my probiotics. I did not notice any difference. My tongue still had a coating, my tonsiliths actually got worse, and my gum did not get any less swollen. The only thing that eventually helped my gums was flossing twice a day. When I get back to the dentist I'll see if there has been any improvements in the carries on my teeth.

I have been giving my little daughter oral probiotics for over a month. She has a bit of an issue with cavities in her baby teeth and some infection in her gum. I have finished my pack. I enjoyed the taste. I put them in before bed. I cannot confidentially say that it had probiotics in it, let alone the quantity stated. Without a 3rd party testing, I will never know. However, I’m assuming that it does. There are mixed reviews on whether or not probiotics in the mouth are that beneficial. For me, I choose to believe every little bit helps. We only have one set of adult teeth. They lozenges are pretty tasty. You just let them sit and dissolve in your mouth.
