Yes, these are open pollinated. To save seeds from a California Wonder sweet pepper, select a fully ripe, healthy pepper from a disease-free plant with desirable traits. Cut the pepper open and remove the seeds, cleaning off any remaining flesh or membrane to prevent mold. Spread the seeds out in a single layer in a well-ventilated, cool, and dark place, allowing them to dry completely for one to two weeks, stirring occasionally to ensure even drying.
