This is a loose-leaf edition of textbook. This textbook does NOT include an access code.
It is not advertised as having an access code, so people should be reviewing the quality of the text. If you buy the access code, you will get e-book access for one year.

I prefer a physical book over an ebook. This was exactly what I needed for online class

Great book for College Algebra and Trigonometry. Very detailed and examples are easy to understand. Good for self study students

Somewhat dissapointed
I purchased this book new from Amazon because my daughter was told she needed a "new" book by her instructor so they could use the access code for the online Pearson labs. Upon receiving the book and attempting to activate the code on the Pearson site (the code inside the cover appeared new, and had to be scratched off), she was told the code was invalid. Thankfully she was able to reach a customer service representative who was able to generate her a new code, otherwise she would have had to pay a few hundred dollars more again for another code. Considering the outrageous cost of these textbooks, this is unacceptable.
