It took me a while to figure this out but now I can use it with ease. You have to connect to an app. It’s a nice white color. The materials are high quality. It keeps your photos and videos stable. It functions well once you learn the software. Comparable with my iPhone.

Great Value, Advanced Features, steep learning curve includes gimbal, phone attachment, USB-C to USB-A charging cable, tracking attachment and carry pouch, and instructions. Outstanding features compared to other budget phone gimbals. The built-in tripod base is standout. The metal legs slide out to create a wide base. They slide back into the grip to disappear so that there's no separate tripod base to impact the grip. These keep the entire body extremely small so that they might even fit into the pockets of cargo pants. There's also a separate USB-C out that can charge your phone while in use. Another great feature is the built-in extension stick between the base and the phone holder. This can be extended for high or low-angle shooting. This is great for simulated crane shots, or close to the ground or critter follow shots. Setup requires following some very specific steps. While the gimbal is still folded and off, attach the phone to the holder on the gimbal. Then unfold it, and it will turn on. If you open it up and/or turn it on first, and then attach the phone, I found it didn't balance immediately. Learning all the functions has a steep learning curve. The scroll wheel, zoom wheel, and buttons all have multiple uses. They change whether single, double, triple, taped, or long pressed. Those functions may also change based on mode. This entails developing a lot of muscle memory. Fortunately, the online documentation and video tutorials are very good. This will take some time and practice to be fluid enough to access all functions during a shoot. It’s not too daunting to learn enough for initial casual use. The M button cycles forward or backward through the various follow modes, for example. The app is more advanced than other budget gimbap. A standout is its tracking function. You can draw a box around the subject to track, which assures you the gimbal will move appropriately to track it. The biggest standout feature is the tracking module, which also doubles as a light that has three color temperatures and levels. While most budget gimbals that support tracking require you to use the manufacturer's app, this tracker allows you to use almost any third-party camera app. For those of you who use the higher-end phone filmmaking apps, this allows you to take advantage of the gimbal’s tracking without having to abandon your professional camera app. It attaches to the base of the camera attachment and has switches to enable tracking and the light features. Overall, this may be one of the best small-sized budget gimbals on the market.

I was so excited to use the Flow 2 for making videos with my iPhone 16 Pro with an external SSD, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. I spent a lot to purchase both the Lexar external SSD and the Insta360 Flow 2 gimbal, but when the SSD is connected to my phone, the Flow 2 loses connection within a few seconds, ruining all the video during my whole trip - not even useable. I wanted to make 4K quality videos during my trip, but due to this issue, I couldn’t use my gimbal with the external SSD—it just ruined all my trip videos. This is such a huge disappointment, and I don’t understand why I invested in your product.

The AI tracker works very well. Whenever I change positions, the tracker will follow. The white color is a very clean look. The package does come with an accessory bag. It would be more idea if it came with a carrying case already for all the accessories. The gimbal is able to maintain stability without big noticeable shaking; thus, providing very good video quality. The gimbal can also turn into a tripod and selfie stick. I even tried light jogging and the video quality was still smooth. The product would be more competitive at 100 dollars to give you more value for your money.
