Can you transfer apps from the fire stick to the usb drive? Or download apps right on to the drive?

I do believe you can download apps on the drive. As for transferring them from the fire stick to the USB drive. Don't think you can.

I’ve used the OTG cables shown with both USB 2 and USB 3 memory sticks successfully. I think compatibility may be more a function of the stick than the cables.

Will this work in UK?

Don't see why it wouldn't. I used it on my Firestick 4K max. Took the power from the Firestick and plugged it into the OTG cable. Added a USB memory stick and then other adapter back to the Firestick. Works great. Check out videos on You Tube.

Will this work with the usb port on a raspberry pi zero 2 w?

If it has the USB port, I can find NO PROBLEM using it. I would also suggest you contact the manufacturers of th OTG Cable who can give you a much more valid answer.
