My husband had a broken toe. I asked him why he was limping, and he said they don't make a toe splint, so I am living with it. I went straight to Amazon. I had to do a little searching as I wasn't sure what these would be called. I found it. My husband said they are great., comfortable and it worked. He can't wear it in a shoe, but he can wear it around the house and they most definitely work. He stated that they are easy to put on and his toe stopped bothering him with it. The Velcro holds the toes in place. He says they are well made. enough so that they will last a long time. This item is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I injured my toe recently and needed something to protect it overnight. This toe protector was exactly what I needed. It’s comfortable, and stays in place while I sleep. Most importantly, it keeps my toe from accidentally bending or getting bumped, which has made a big difference in healing. Doesn’t feel bulky or tight — Highly recommend if you’re recovering from a toe injury.

I am highly satisfied with this product. It fits my foot well and it stays put (even without the included strap). I have mostly been wearing it at night to keep my big toe stabilized while I sleep. Before I bought this toe splint, I would wake up with severe pain because I would inadvertently move my toe in my sleep. Since sleeping with this toe splint, I am never woken up in the middle of the night by pain in my big toe. I would say in that specific circumstance it provides pain relief. My only complaint (and the reason for a 4-star review) is that I wish it would fit in my day-to-day shoes so that when my toe is fussy, I could have the support I need throughout the day. Overall this product works well for my specific needs.

I have hallux rigidus in both left and right big toes and I walk five miles per day. My Podiatrist recommends toe joint fusion surgery but I can't deal with the 6-8 weeks of no driving, so I'm living with the condition for now. I've tried several big toe splints; some work and some do not. This product does seem to work pretty well with a couple of caveats. Here goes: Pros: well made device; has strong steel splint strips rather than the aluminum strips that other devices use; the aluminum ones bend and break quickly. Velcro straps are strong and long enough to wrap around my big feet (others require the addition of self-bonding bandage strips to attach due to their short straps). Cons: BIG and bulky; requires BIG footwear in order to use comfortably. Recommend wearing hiking sandals with the device for walking comfort. The thickness of the device makes it feel like there is a pebble under my instep when I first start walking; however, my body adjusts to this after a bit and it feels comfortable for the rest of the walk. Overall, a pretty good product - not perfect, but aside from actual surgical repair, what is??

My 11 year old son sprained his big toe into the foot before a baseball tournament. We bought this and thought why not. This allowed my son to play his baseball game with minimal pain and it fit in his shoe. Would definitely recommend.

The product works great but a quarter mile into my walk the fabric ripped and the metal prong cut up my toe. I had to use duct tape to put it back together but the metal brackets have started coming out of the outside from only walking.

This brace isn't stable. Every step I take, it slightly slides on my foot. Even though I have the straps very tight, it still slides. The problem is a design flaw; the brace isn't wide enough on the foot and there needs to be more straps to secure the brace over the whole foot. It's better than nothing, but not worth the money spent since it isn't doing its job properly.

I broke my toe back in October 2024. They put me in a cast. I took that thing off because the doctor wrapped my ankle and not the toe that was broken, so it was going to heal crooked. I'm not a doctor, but I took the cast off and put this on. It hurt like heck, but I can tell you my toe isn't crooked and is fully healed.
