It's expensive, but we'll worth it. Rips through 12GA steel like butter and uses very little battery

Excellent, powerful, well made
This is the kind of quality and performance I generally expect from Dewalt. It went through 0.060 steel like butter, and could easily have done 0.075 I think. The blades are very precise and well-crafted, far superior to my older pneumatic shear. A close fit delivers easier cutting. You do have to find JUST the right angles for easy snipping, so I rock the tool slightly up/down and side/side until the cutting gets smooth and easy. What a joy to use.
