I replaced my Amazon basics 3' Toslink with this 4' one so I could hide cables. The Amazon one had worked perfectly.This cable fails intermittently. My Samsung Q90 fails to see the Samsung Q80 soundbar on turn on about 1/2 the time and when connected manually the TV drops the connection within an hour or two.I cleaned the optical cable ends and ensured no tight cable bends.Will return the cable when the new one (different brand arrives.

It works great as long as connectors are VERY precisely at 90 degrees :) Otherwise good value for money

Fast delivery. One minute to connect the cable between my two devices that are over 9 meters apart. No issues transmitting the digital signal over that distance. No noticeable delay nor anything to be adjusted. Paid $7.99 for 10m/32f.

I had issues with connecting initially, figured it might be because of signal loss, since i didnt require 25m in its entirety shortened the cable to required length, add a new connector and works very well. Cable itself is very thin so handle with care.

Works exactly as expected. Not a single problem with my home theater setup. Great price for such lengthy cable.

Doesn't seem like a high quality cable. The signal cracks up intermittently and seems to respond to wiggling the cable in the plug, as though there was a loose connection or misalignment. Not worth using, I will try another cable instead.

Got it to swap for a cord that was too long. It didn't work and I bought a different one.

Opened it looked good. Started plugging it into my sound bar when I noticed the red connection light was extremely faint. I thought maybe it was just the brand plugged it in and nothing happened. Hours of frustrated time wasted I reverted back to my 3foot cord and ordered a better cord elsewhere.

I was concerned that I might have trouble with signal strength at this length but the cable works great. It runs out of my lounge up into the loft, across the house and into a bedroom and the signal gets there just fine. This has allowed me to utilise the optical output from my Sonos Connect to play in my bedroom and bathrooms on one amp while playing in the lounge off the coaxial digital output simultaneously, so great value when compared to buying another Connect. I did trim the cable down as I didn't need the full 25m in the end so am now running at about 22m but trimming was easy and the end could be removed and put back on the cable with ease.Audio quality is, of course, perfect being that the signal is digital and manages to reach the length of the cable so this is a better way of traversing long distance than using an analogue cable which can introduce interference over this sort of length.

Plugged one end into a TOSLINK digital optical fibre splitter fed from my TV and routed the cable in a channel cut into the chipboard flooring beneath the carpet and connected the other end to my hi-fi system. TV now plays out through the hi-fi and has been working without any problems for 6 weeks. I'm no hi-fi expert, but will just say that the audio quality sounds really great to me.

Worked a treat for a few weeks and then the cable split and was left with a red wire. Also, be a little careful as they don't fit in easily and I noticed last night, after putting my original short cable back in, it's put dints in each of my tv hole and speaker. If it hadn't of split, would of given an extra star. So now left with 35ft of cable.

I really wasn't sure how good this would be when buying this, it turns out that it was a great buy, worked really well over the distance, i would recommend this to anyone, you may have noticed that i said worked really well and believe me it did until when i was fixing it i came down my step ladder and got my foot tangled in it and it stopped working, so I have got another coming tomorrow, i will be more careful next time. Dame good product.

You don't want to buy anything else. The cable is not any wider than needed which makes it super descrete or if needed to go through walls (which I did) the holes could be super small ones :)Do not buy gold plated optics -- think twice : why do you need gold plating for optical cables ???
