Great quality. Never had one fail on me and never ended up with a disc that doesn't read properly. Generally Blu-Rays recordables are significantly more reliable than recordable DVDs or CDs. BD-R discs are compatible with the vast majority of standalone players (with the exception of some very early models) and with all game consoles that support Blu-Ray discs. Note that these are single layer discs and are generally not suitable for backing up commercial movies, since they're usually bigger than 25GB and won't fit on a single layer disc without reencoding. Also mind that you need a Blu-Ray writer to burn these. DVD drives will not be able to read or write these discs. Combo drives will also not be able to record these, but will be able to read them once recorded on a compatible drive.
