This only just arrived an hour ago. I've been dealing with a clogged drain that has gotten exponentially worse in the past couple days, to the point that I can't even wash my hands without the sink nearly overflowing. It took literally 3 seconds to shove this tool in several inches and pull it out with a huge clump of hair caught on it. I don't think I got it all (I probably could have pushed it in further, but I got a little spooked for a second that I wouldn't be able to pull it out because the fit was so tight and there was resistance when I pushed it in), but nevertheless the sink drains perfectly now! My only complaint would be the packaging. They are crammed tightly in a small zip lock bag and it took more time to try to get them out without stabbing myself then it took to actually clear my drain. Maybe just use a slightly bigger bag? I suppose I could have just used a scissor to open the bag up, now that I realize there is no way I'd be able to get them back in there.

These are sold in a 10 pack, so I expect them to wear out or break over time, but each seems good for multiple uses, and give us extras to put in each bathroom and out in the camper too. The packaging will serve well to store the extras until they are needed. We put one to immediate use, and though it does snag a bit inside the drain, it is simple enough to dance around and pull back out (with a wad of gunk attached). I would imagine each could be made to last longer using a knife or utility shears to make new little side hooks/times as those it came with break off in use.

I love these for the fact that I don’t have to deal with clean up after pulling out the hair clogs, it can just go right in the trash. I knocked off one star because they are hard to straighten out and it takes some wiggling to get them down the drain.

These work pretty well. We got a lot of gunk out of our bathroom sink. Some of the little teeth end up breaking off but not too immediately to make me leave a bad review. They definitely work. I think the only real downfall is that the orange pieces aren't all that long. Like they get right down to the p-trap but not really any further which we wished it would cause we felt like there was more stuff stuck down in there. For the most part though, they did a good enough job to make our sink drain faster. I'd call it a win.

They like to remain curled up, making it difficult to get them down some drains, because they roll up rather than push down the drain.

I know some of the reviews indicated these weren't very sturdy, but I had no issue using them. Strong enough to unclog drains (hair clog) but flexible enough to get around stopper and long enough to navigate bends. We have 3 people with long hair, and I used just one of these to unclog the shower drain, and 2 bathroom sinks. The teeth hold the hair pretty firmly, but it's still easy to clean, and I don't see any cracks or stress lines so it looks like I will be able to reuse that one several more times. This pack of 10 should last quite a while. Great value, works well, sturdy enough and long enough. Would definitely recommend and purchase again.

If you just need to use them once in a blue moon, or for light duty, then these are a good value. If you have a need for regular use or HD (ie...household full of long haired people), then I suggest you buy a name brand. They are a bit on the flimsy side compared to the ones you buy at your local hardware store.

I have purchased dozens of drain cleaners off Amazon, but this is the first time this has happened. I placed item as directed into bathtub, and when removing, IT BROKE! The top part completely snapped off and left the remaining piece stuck in the drain. I had to use needle nose pliers to fish it out. It was disgusting and wasted an hour of my Sunday. This is a cheap knock off product that uses flimsy plastic and it is not effective. You can immediately feel the weakness in the plastic.
