Biostars Boards are versitle,durable, and perform well. Works well with SATA ll's and/or IDE. Nvida on board graphics are good for office work and sufring the Internet. Small removable BIOS chip is a plus if you need to upgrade or replace. Bought this for a friend and he's very happy with it. Parts upgrading is inexpensive and a wide range of choices are avaliable. I had mine for three years now and it still works flawlessly.

Not the most features but like all the Biostar boards I have installed it was flawless and fast. Large color pictorial instructions make finding the connections easy and a simple driver install makes this a winner. I had an old dual core processor and ddr2 memory and didn't want to trash it. Soon obsolete but fine for a business computer. Love Biostar and seek out their boards when I need one.

The motherboard was exactly what I needed! My old board died.... I found this board for a good price. Install was straight and simple! Fast shipping! It was I life saver.

I thought I was buying the green one that it showed here on Amazon.com but for what ever reason I got this red and black style. I also bought this Nvidia mid tower for it and so I was trying to go for the green motherboard... For the most part it works fine. The whole reason why I bought a mother board was because the connection for the monitor was broken. So with the new one I'm able to use a monitor again. It's hard to install and repair a computer when the motherboards monitor plug in is broken. Buy it it's a good price and it does what it's what it's intended purpose :D

I built an inexpensive system in April 2008 using this board. Vista basic, 2Gigs of OCZ memory, and a 512mb Nvidia gs8400 video card. Runs fast and stable, used frequently. As for the booting problem the other reviewer had, you cannot just swap out a board on a factory system if it`s not identical to the one you took out. The operating system is tied to the original motherboard, and will not boot using this one. This board is mainly meant for new builds with a fresh install of your own operating system.

I had a lot of spare parts from a build I did in 2007...processor, memory, case, etc and put them to good use with this mobo. Easy instructions with photo diagrams included. It doesn't have every bell and whistle but it's just fine for surfing and games. I'm running a free operating system from Ubuntu. Now we have an extra computer in the house and we are learning Linux - and my wife does not have to share her computer anymore.
