Sensationnel lace front wig - ifw couture wiginna

This wig was all the rage a few years ago and I can see why. As long as you don't get too close it does look fairly natural. I think it's a little bit of a push to call it a lace front though. There was just a tiny little piece of plasticy lace that I cut off in no time. It has pretty much a traditional style wig cap. The "lace" is only where the part is. If you wear glasses this one might be a challenge for you to pull off as the lace doesn't go to the ears. I did what I could with the part and with a little bit of powder foundation concealer whatever it does look better. Like many wigs though, the roots are too dark for me even though I got one with brown roots. Oh well, you get what you pay for :-)

Let me say, I absolutely love the look of this unit. The hair is soft, even though it does shed and tangles quite a bit. However, that is expected with the longer wigs.Upon the unboxing of this wig, I noticed a horribly off-putting chemical smell! Against my better judgment, I tried this wig on and wore it around the house to try it out. My scalp started to itch, and then my face, and then my body! I immediately took the wig off and put it away. I thought it was just an itchy unit or maybe the lace had just irritated me. Even though I was no longer wearing the unit, as the day progressed I continued to itch and was covered with welts by bedtime! I had to take Zyrtec to stop the insane itching and welts that were now spreading to my neck! Now I have heard that some synthetic wigs can cause an allergic reaction due to the alkaline coating used on the hair. I soaked the wig in white vinegar for about 4 hours and double shampooed it twice with clarifying shampoo to see if it would help. After thoroughly washing and rinsing the unit about 10 times I set it down to let it dry. I am now typing this review in between itching and scratching my skin as it seems to have caused another allergic reaction by just washing the unit! I haven't even put it on my head yet. Sad to say I will probably not be able to wear this wig due to the reaction it caused. I will also stay away from all Sensationnel brand wigs from now on. I have had no issues like this from my other synthetic wigs from Bobbi Boss, Outre, or Freetress. I will stick with those brands from now on. Super bummed to have wasted money on such a beautiful unit that I will never be able to wear. If you are sensitive to synthetic wigs or have sensitive skin, please stay away from this unit! Your experience may not be the same as mine but please just be aware.

I am an avid wig wearer and this wig was not worth $28. It should be more around the $10 price range. The lace is only in the part area. The lace is extremely hard and scratchy. The hairs are easy ripped out simply by brushing. The secure straps are flimsy and seems to be able to break easy. I gave it 2 stars because right out of the package the hair feels soft and nice, however that joy is short lived because it tangles easily. I really wanted to like this wig.UPDATE: its been two weeks of wearing this hair and although everything I wrote above is true, I must say the actual hair is holding up nicely. minimal shedding and the curls have bounced back after each brushing. I like it better now, however I still think it should be in the $20 or under range due to the construction of the wig

I would give this a full 5 star but what annoys me the most is the fact that it doesn't comes with combs to secure the wig on your head. All it takes is a good gush of wind to snatch this wig off your head. All so, the lace is really small and the part is hella skinny. You'll have to pluck it to customize it to make it look as natural as possible. It sheds like nobody's business and it gets tangled pretty easily in the nape area. You'll have to have a brush or comb on the ready to remedy this tangled mess. On a positive note, i will say the wig is very soft and looks very much like human hair even though its synthetic fiber.

Cute! But tangles easily. I bought this as my first wig and haven’t had a lot of issues. I cut the lace, plucked the hairline and it looked very nice when I used to gel to lock it in place. It does not come with hooks, but I didn’t mind that. The only real issue is the tangling (I used a boar/wave brush to smooth it out and cutter the under part of the wig as it was the most matted). But it is expected when it comes to synthetic wigs. I cut it about an inch or two, because for me it was a bit longer than I usually have my hair. Good cheap purchase and would recommend.

This unit is so silky smooth and bouncey. It looks incredible. I'm not the one for extremely long hair, so I cut my unit to fit my taste and I created a much better L shape part to look more like my real hair. I was like wow, the unit came out very nice after I modified it and I was shocked that it maintained the curls and the bounce! I wore it to a retirement celebration on a cruise and got so many compliments and heads turning as my unit just bounced with my walk across the room! LOL It's a little pricy for synthetic hair, but I love it and would buy again if the price comes down!

My first wig ever! I got her in the color DR30. Super pretty unit and looks very believable! No tangling or and very minimal shedding so far. I plucked the part to my liking, flat ironed the top to make it less humpty. The only cons are NO CLIPS so it was sliding around a lot, I will have to figure out a way to secure it :( also, one side had beautiful curls and the other side was thicker with more unruly curls? So I had to thin out that side to get it to match the other but not a deal breaker.

Right now giving it a four cause I just got it today so idk how long it’s going to last people say two weeks on YouTube ... but I’m so in love and I’m a dark skin women so it fit me well so don’t be scared of color! But it does not have combs and if you have a big head might be difficult to stay on. But to help I put a clip in the middle and one on the bottom
