Q: Can more than 4 players play even though it's 1-4 players?

Yes - more than 4 can play. However, they recommend up to 4 only, because there is only so much space around the objects/cards, as well as there are only a finite number of "things to do". We have played with more than 4, where we assign someone to run the circle codex thingy, another to read the clues aloud, another to write down information from the clue cards, etc. So yes, you can have more than 4 people work together to try and solve the riddle cards.
