I purchased this to replace the cord for my crossbow crank cocking device after the original had frayed to a dangerous spot. I had to figure out the type of cord I was dealing with(using a caliper gage), then discovered Kevlar is extremely durable and strong. My compound crossbow has a 200 pound pull, so the cocking device needs to be reliable. This diameter is perfect for it. I waxed the cord Samaras I do the bow strings. I've restring the device and used it several times now confidently. I'm very pleased because now I've spare cord for this kind of repair. This happened in the middle of deer hunting season. I'm also disabled for the disclaimer, so I needed the cocking device operating safely. Excellent product for this.

I only gave this 3 stars due to not having a way to keep it from unbraiding, normally I would just melt the end after cutting it to keep it from fraying but this stuff does not melt, for some that may be a selling point but for me it's a hassle, they only way I've found so far is to knot the ends. I'll be sticking to the UHMWPE Braided Cords instead.

Good thread for sewing

Excellent tensile strength, well made, and economical thread/cordage. Purchased as a signal trip line, but useful for very many purposes like sewing, fishing, and lashing small objects.

Product is a little misleading. It looks like thick Paracord type cord, but in reality is thin. Still, is good quality & works fine.
