The only OTC acid reflux that works for me
Zegerid is the only otc that actually works for my daily chronic acid reflux.

Wonderful!!!
Zegrid is so amazing. The only antacid that works 100% for me. There's something about the combination of the two main ingredients that just covers everything. And you can use it before or after you get heartburn, it's fast acting. Only side effect is that initially, it will make you burp and it will taste like you drank classic alka-seltzer. But that only happens soon after you swallow it.

BEST OTC GERD RELIEVER!!!!
It's better than Prilosec, Nexium, etc for me anyway. The Sodium Bicarbonate isn't in these other GERD OTC products. I get relief when I take Zegerid.

Happy to find this.
My gastroenterologist recommended this product (not available at my local pharmacies) to supplement prescription medication for persistent GERD until we determine what's causing the problem. Apparently what sets this apart from other remedies is the presence of sodium bicarbonate. As a non-professional, I cannot recommend this (or any product) for any medical issue, but as a consumer I can say that this one is doing what it's apparently supposed to do. But that's just me -- if you have persistent heartburn or GERD (acid reflux), please check with your heath care provider. Untreated, GERD can lead to problems worse than GERD.
