I had previously purchased a ‘neck fan’ and immediately found that all it did was blow air and did not provide cooling. I began looking online again and located the Ranvoo Aice Lite cooling fan. While the fan was a higher price than my previous fan it seemed to have all of the things I was really looking for as well as an added bonus of heat, and an iPhone application to control its use. I found the multi speed cooling to be very nice - while at the same time not blowing directly into the ears as my previous fan did. This cooling fan also provides adjustment around the neck (I happen to be a pretty good sized guy) which made for comfortable wearing. One additional thing was that the fan(s) are not noisy - allowing me to listen to other people talking, the TV, or AirPods with minimum bother. While I have not really done much with just the heating or fan alone speeds/settings yet as I live in Hot Arizona, I believe they are going to be helpful when I need them. I did note that when the outside temperature here in Phoenix was around 103-105 degrees the Ranvoo struggles to keep me cool but I guess that is to be expected, especially when I am busy outside. This fan seems solidly built, is not too heavy or noisy and seems to do exactly what it was designed for. I would recommend this fan to anyone needing more of an air condition cooling unit over an air fan.

I love this! Cooling plates can get extremely cold, just make sure you adjust them in the app. For those of you who are wondering, the cooling plates cool down & it also blows cold air. It feels just as if you’ve put a cold towel around your neck which also happens to generate a soft cool breeze. I live in the UAE and it’s extremely hot here throughout the year, this has made life a little more bearable whenever I’m outdoors or inside a hot area (parking garage, mall, airport, etc..). Just don’t get this with super high expectations, if you’re out in the scorching heat it won’t magically transport you to the north pole, it just makes it a lot more bearable. I’m literally recommending this to everyone I know, just buy it and don’t think twice

J'ai plusieurs refroidisseur de cou chez moi. Si plus cheap aux assez dispendieux avec des plaques de métal refroidissantes. Malheureusement aucun n'a fait mon bonheur. Ou bien ça envoie de l'air mais avec un bruit de fan trop fort. Ou bien les plaques deviennent chaude après t'avoir envoyé une dose de froid et c'est très très très désagréable. Mais celui ci c'est le meilleur et le seul que j'utilise vraiment. Les autres sont dans un bac et je les détestes. Pour commencer le AICE RANVOO à un design unique. Les plaques refroidissantes descendent en bas du cou donc ils refroidissent mieux que les autres modèles. Il est lourd mais le poids est bien balancer donc il tient bien en place. Les plaques ne sont pas en métal et le matériel en quoi elles sont faites est doux et merveilleux. C'est très lisse et ça peu devenir très froid si c'est ce qu'on veut. Mais elles reste à bonnes températures et ne deviennent pas froide comme les autres modèles. Les commandes sur le module sont simple mais le gros plus c'est de pouvoir le faire fonctionner avec l'application et avec le mode AI ça contrôle pour vous la température que vous demander. Ça ajoutera le vent plus doux ou plus fort et les plaques. Un gros plus sont les deux moteurs de fan qui sont derrière donc pas sous vos oreilles comme les autres. Par contre comme tout les ventilateurs de cou ça peut prendre les cheveux dedans donc attachez les pour protéger les moteurs. J'ai choisit cette couleur parce que je trouvais plus beau que blanc et pour être certain que je ne tache pas avec mes cheveux quand je dois les teindre. Il est plus chère de cette couleur mais tellement plus beau. Je ne sais pas s'il y a une différence entre le blanc côté performance ou intérieure mais j'ai préféré celui ci

Definitely works to cool you down and we'll also make use of the heating option in winter when we walk the dogs. Went with the blue color which is a little less obtrusive - I think I'd feel OK wearing this outside, even going to the patio. Hey, people can laugh all they want - I'm feeling cool!! So far I've been wearing it around the house when it's been too warm (esp. if you come in from being outside) and it quickly works to cool you down. The plates that feel quite cold to the touch don't actually feel as cold on your neck which is a good thing, and I've not had any sore neck or anything which was a concern. The only slight negative was the app install on Android - being sent to download an APK was a bit odd, and it wasn't super clear which app in the app-store was the correct one. In the end I went with the one called "Metaura" and it works great. It could also do with a few more instructions on what exactly the different app options do and how they work in combination. What does "cooling first" do exactly that "cooling" doesn't? I'll just keep playing around to figure them out ... Overall, this was a bit of an extravagant purchase, up there with my "robotic lawnmower" - something that seems expensive and a splurge at the time but quickly moves into the "best thing I ever bought" column.
