Not too yellow
I was skeptical before I purchased, I didn’t want to buy these and get pulled over for illegal lights. While yellow, they are not traffic light yellow. The light is crisp and has a yellow hue that’s not a cop magnet. I’m impressed!

2012 Honda CRV.
I really like these lights. For some reason, In the video, They look very orange, but they are not. They are absolutely clear-bright, yellow. Matches the marker lights more than the video but I have bright white LED lights in those marker lights.. I chose to go with yellow halogens to blend with the 6000/6500k white light from the led upgrades (FAHREN 30K lm) and i'm glad that I did that was a really good choice being that they are 2900k ...it blends it out ahead of the beam and creates a seam of light closer to standard 3000/3100k halogen range. Some people mention that the bulbs arent bright...well....they are FOG lights....they aren't supposed to be bright. They "appear" more dim because of the color. In the video, you can actually see the output because of the contrast in color temp. They broadcast out well, to the sides and you can see light bouncing off of trees well ahead of me on the road. Understand that you need to ensure that your application supports the wattage of these bulbs. While they may "fit" your application....if your system is rated for less than what the bulb calls for or more than, you can expect not only a shorter lifespan but also damage to your factory harness....Ive seen the plug literally weld itself to the bulb and the insulation melt away from harness wiring. These are NOT OEM parts....you can't reasonably fully expect all fitment applications to be 100% plug and play. Also....wear gloves!!! Wash and completely drt all areas of the installation. They bulb has a coating on it that will already make it burn a little hotter. You want to thoroughly degrease any immediate areas the bulb may touch during installation....especially if you are placing them by feel. 90% of halogen bulb failure is due to improper and careless installation or moisture in the housing. When you replace your bulbs, do so in a manner that will avoid introducing moisture or condensation into the housing....if your vehicle is older, check to ensure that your housings are sealed! Any residual moisture will absolutely kill a bulb like this extremely fast. Godspeed

Light yellow color. It is not a dark yellow color but a light brighter color óf a yellow. These are nice bulbs but I was looking for an H8 bulb version but this H11 are similar. But I had to modify the top silver tab smaller slightly to fit my H8 fog lights. And now it fits perfect.

Disappointed: Color & Brightness
They fit perfectly, and work very well, but they are not as bright or as "yellow/amber" as I was hoping for. The pictures show a yellow color on the glass of the bulb. Not the case. Bulb gkass is clear. I am disappointed.

Good bulb but not yellow
Good bulbs but they are not yellow, warm white is the best way to describe them. If you want yellow you’ll need LED’s.

Enhanced Visibility in Adverse Weather Conditions
I installed the HELLA H11 YL Xtreme Yellow bulbs in my vehicle's fog light housings, and the improvement in visibility during foggy and rainy conditions has been remarkable. The 2900K color temperature produces a bright yellow light that significantly reduces glare and enhances contrast, making it easier to navigate through challenging weather. These bulbs are designed for off-road use, and while they may not be street legal in all areas, they are perfect for rural and off-road driving where visibility is crucial.

Not Very Yellow At All
If you are buying these to have yellow fog lights, skip these. They are more of the tint of old halogen headlights. Kind of a light, whitish yellow--more orange/amber in color. I was no impressed with these at all. Instead, buy the Optilux XENON Extreme Yellow XY version also made by HELLA. Now those are nice, bright, and yellow!

These bulbs are great. Super yellow, very bright. However they are HOT. Melted the reflector housings on my 2018 crosstrek. Although these are not the same bulbs as stock (19.5w stock, these are 55w) these are what hella recommended as the replacement. I was debating getting the replacement LED fogs anyway so I’m not overly bummed about it but be aware they get quite warm!

With the rather wet and murky weather we’ve been experiencing lately, these bulbs provide superior light penetration through mist, fog and low cloud. The only drawback was that I couldn’t get them here in the UK. I had to order them from the US

Bulb coverage is wide and it's more useful than LEDs
