Q: it's the battery pre charged?

Yes it is pre charged. However I have a 2008 X5 E70 without comfort access. The original battery looks just like this one however the metal that connects the 90degree goes all the way around the battery. When I tried this one it wouldn't work for me. I had to get one that matches my factory exactly

Q: E39 Is this plug & play or soldering it?

Soldering is required . I would suggest getting a good solder sucker.

Q: How do you charge this battery

This battery has a maximum time of two weeks and can not be recharged in the car. Do not purchase it.
