So satisfying
What a beautiful set of acrylic paint pens! At the time of the review, you're paying nearly 1£ for each pen, which to me sounds is a reasonable price. I really like the tip, it's point but flexible: in other words it means that you can paint thin lines but also thicker lines (perfect for foliage). I'm glad they added the colour at the bottom of the pen too, so that you can choose what you want without having to pick them up individually. The paint dries out pretty quickly, in fact within a few seconds I was already able to paint a colour on top of another... with good coverage. If you're painting darker colours on top of lighter colours you will have absolutely no problem!

Great quality box of markers
Compared with other offers on Amazon this big box of acyrlic markers is quite pricey, at 89p per pen; there are other sets out there, some with double ended pens (brush & fine tip), for as little as 36p per pen. However, I've been stung with art supplies/pens before - sometimes you need to pay a little more for something which will cover better and last longer. Unfortunately, I don't have enough experience with acrylic markers to make an in-depth quality comparison yet, so I just have to give you that caveat - if you're looking for a rainy day project with the kids when on holiday and you don't know how much use you'll get out of them, a cheaper set might be a better starting point. This set, though, is quality and feels and performs like it should last a long time. The very sturdy box is a plus, helping to keep the chaos to a minimum, the coverage is excellent, and the colour range very good. The colours are largely on the more delicate side and with (eg) only one black pen you're likely to find yourself needing to supplement the box with others quite quickly; black for outlining being the prime candidate. To that extent, to keep everything neatly in one box for project days, I'd have preferred them to include (say) two each of some of the bolder colours and certainly 3 black, sacrificing instead some of the paler hues closer to each other in tone. Still, it's a quality product from a brand which does a large range of other art supplies, which gives me confidence. Happy.

Perfect for colouring in. Not so good for fine lines. Awesome ink flow.
The ease of how quickly and efficiently the ink flowed from these pens was amazing. They are however best used for larger colouring in projects. I painted a large pebble to test them and with a basic pattern they were quick, easy and fun to use. Following a line was like cutting in with a large paintbrush though and a steady hand was needed due to the large nib. I then went on to refresh my silver door numbers and changed the colour to black. Again very quick and easy to do with the link flowing instantly with no shaking or pumping to get them going with fantastic results. I then tested them on a piece of paper and it was almost impossible to do fine line work. So depending on your project I would recommend using a finer nib for the first sketch and then using these for the colouring in. The grid at the bottom of the box holding the pens to store or display was strong plastic so that was impressive. The actual box dependant on state on arrival could probably do with some reinforcement inside with tape which I did and that worked well. The options of the colour palette was extensive but it would have been useful to have had a couple more of the black and white pens, especially the black which was used a lot. This was a superb set of pens which I’m very happy to recommend ☺️

Wow!
A great set of pens for anyone with an artistic bent. Ideal for artists and illustrators. These are acrylic paint pens not spirit based ink markers. They come with a small sheet of stickers, one per pen. I'm not sure what you are supposed to do with them, maybe to mark up some storage system other than the box in which they came. £106 for 120 pens is also pretty good value.

Incredible set. Great quality pens and colours
An amazingly balanced, well judged set of acrylic pens. The paint is bright, vivid and colourful. Each pen has a generously flowing brush nib that has exactly the right amount of 'give', allowing for a wide range of strokes to be achieved with a single pen. The selection of colours supplied is wonderful and very wide-ranging too. There seemed to be more of a lean towards pastels, rather than primary colours, but that's what makes this set unique. Anyone who uses acrylic markers will most likely already have 'the standards' and in which case, I'd much prefer to have a set that leaned more towards what I didn't have, than replicating ones that I already had multiples of. Each pen is lightweight and comfortable to hold. The nibs are equally well suited to blocking colours and fine detail work. These can be layered on top of each other - as long as you ensure that the 'bottom-coat' has set well before drawing on top, but the opaque nature of the acrylic obviously means that there's no real bleed-through to speak of. The paint is thick and has good coverage on everything I've tried so far (as long as the surface is clean and free of dust) Painting stones really shows off the flexibility and versatility of this set! It's not a cheap set though, but the quality does shine through. I often ask myself would I buy another, if I lost the original item and here I can confidently say that I would. For me, that's high praise indeed, especially at this price-point.
