Fits Like A Glove
The product itself is sturdy and fits perfectly on my Model 3. Yes, you would need to use the visors to hold it in place - but the shield covers the entirety of the windshield and will protect your dashboard. The product comes with a bag that can hold the shield when you're not using it.Overall, very impressed with the product and would 100% recommend this product to others. Actually, because it fits so well, I don't think there should be an alternate choice to a sunshade. It's a little pricey that what most people are used to, but rest assured this is not a flimsy product that will get ruined with heat and/or extended use - this is top quality. Only gripe is the bag itself is a little flimsy (but hey, better than no bag at all right?)BONUS POINTS: Customer service is excellent! I e-mailed the seller to request a new bag since my bag tore (accidentally snagged on the door) and they replied almost immediately! They also said they would ship me another bag at no cost (and here I was, willing to pay for a replacement). I trust AutoHeatShield and will consider them for any future purchases.

Old school nice, super well made, helps a lot
Like others have said: “I had a similar one many years ago” for my Mercedes. This may be a little better, but it is a life-of-the-car built sunshade. It’s not some plastic-framed emergency blanket or just a cardboard cut-out. My measurements show the unfolded thickness (when it is deployed) to me about 7mm and folded at about 50 mm.It comes with a nice bag for storage but mine hardly ever makes it in there, except on car cleaning days🤔The sunshade is stiff and although I haven’t torn it apart, it feels like it has a corrugated PVC interior wrapped with reflective material on the outer-facing side and a soft material on the inside face. The entire thing is held together with nice stitching and a soft boarder. It fits the Tesla well. This is the one I have been looking for! Hello old friend!

Amazing quality, definitely an expensive option
I give five stars for what you're looking for -- durability, ease of access, and functionality. Fits perfectly into Model 3 windshield. This sunshade isn't thin and you can feel the high quality right out of the box. Keeps out heavy sunlight and contains warmth pretty well during chilly days. Only downside is that it's pricey, but I'm more than happy to have purchased this product. Strongly recommend.

Go ahead and get this one!
I got this sunvisor for my Model 3. This is a good folding sun visor. When I bought it I had some lingering questions I just took a chance on. I'll answer those here.1. Smell- YA, there is a smell when you first pull it out of the package. I read a review that said leave it out for a day to vent. I left it folded out in my garage for a day. The smell was mostly gone at that point.2. Where can you put it? It does NOT fit in the frunk. It does NOT fit in the lower portion of the back trunk. It does NOT fit very well between the seats. It DOES fit in the top part of the trunk or in the backseat. I have been leaving mine in the backseat. It came with a nice vinyl bag to put it in. During winter months I may take it out of the car put for now it just hangs out in the backseat. If someone is riding back there I will put it in the trunk.3. Does it help with heat? Kind of. I leave my car out in the sun at an airport for 7-10 hours a day (pilot). My overheat protection was running constantly on sunny days. With this it runs far less. If I leave sentry mode off and overheat protection on my car uses 10-15 miles less on a sunny 100+ degree day with this sunshade on. I do have window tint as well, but not on the windshield.4. It looks like there is a huge gap at the top? Ya there is a pretty good gap there. I pull my sunshade up as far as I can and the bottom sort of sits off the windshield a bit. Honestly, this isn't a big deal.5. Fit? The visors hold it in place, but with the exception of the gap for the camera stuff it fits really nicely.6. Scratching? Putting anything up on your windshield means there will be rubbing. This is a large thing. So far I haven't had any scratching yet on the panel!Yes I suggest getting this one.

Great fit, feel; But a bit awkward as well
It feels great, it has a thick, firm feel. It has a soft, felt-like backing to prevent scratches, and comes with a storage sack. It pretty much covers the window with just a bit of space along the top and around the rearview mirror. It folds (rather than rolls up) and because of the Tesla display, it feels a bit awkward to install and remove it. So have your passenger wait for you to remove it from the window before getting in the car. Fold up the car sunshades, then pull the entire shade towards you, and gently fold it starting from the center on the passenger side of the Tesla display, then you can either store it in the bag in the trunk if you have rear seat passengers. To install it, slide it folded up about 2/3 of the way into place, then gently unfold it, support it in the middle bottom as you slide it into place in the window. BE GENTLE you don't want to break the stiff board within because the window is so long that if the shade loses it's stiffness it will just fall out of the window. Just be slow and gentle with the thing! It totally keeps the temperature down in the interior when used in conjunction with roof window shades.

A very good fit for the Model 3 windshield
In previous vehicles, I always settled for cheaper, "one size fits all" sunshades. Their construction and materials were sub-par, flimsy, and visually unappealing. This sunshade was a splurge by me, as I want to preserve as much as possible the interior of my vehicle as long as possible. This product is both aesthetically appealing as well as extremely functional. The material and construction are visbly higher quality than store-bought counterparts, and the fitment for a Model 3 is nearly perfect. This rigid sunshade folds accordion style, and fits neatly on the rear floorboards or the trunk spaciously. If you are serious about protecting the interior of your Model 3 with a sunshade, let this be the sunshade you buy.
