Excellent Belt and Customer Service!
This belt meets all expectations! I am very happy with this purchase! But, it didn't start out that way. I received my new Grip 6 belt with high expectations. I wore the belt for several days and it just wouldn't hold. I kept having to retighten and retighten it. I had pretty well given up on it after the first week. About a week later I received an email from Grip6 customer service asking how I was enjoying my new belt and if I had any questions. First of all, that is brilliant customer service! 👍🏼 Thank you! I then explained my problem with the belt to the rep and he replied with a polite response and offered an illustration of how to properly cinch the belt. I figured I might as well look it over. I am a smart guy who usually reads directions but, this is a belt. How hard could it be to figure out? It wasn't hard at all! I was just doing it wrong! Lol! After following the illustration I realized I wasn't threading it correctly. Problem solved! It's been a few months since and I wear the belt nearly every day. It works great! It's thin, light weight, holds tight and looks good doing it! Everything I need and nothing I don't. It may seem a little silly but, I enjoy putting it on every morning. Each morning I am reminded of what a great purchase it was. It's the little things. I am also reminded of the value of reading directions. Haha! Great work Grip6 team! I am a customer 4 life! I just want to add that I went swimming in salt water with my Grip6 belt on for the first time the other day. I was worried that might cause an issue with it somehow but, I just rinsed it in the shower when I got home and it hasn't missed a beat. It dried over night no problem and still looks and works great!

Great belt. Works fine for concealed carry.
I must admit I was skeptical, but when it arrived I thought it to be a good value. I'm a 36-37 waist. All my pants are 36. I ordered the 38, just to be sure. It's a little long, but not too much. The design of the belt keeps the tail webbing tucked securely behind the front webbing. I may trim it a bit and flame seal it, but I don't really see a need to do that for now. If you are concerned about the size, go for the larger size. You can always cut it down, but not vice versa. As for some of the questions about it being a good gun belt. It is 1.5 inches wide, but not a rigid as a true gun belt like the nylon ones with extra stitching and stiffening material. Having said that I find it works perfectly with my Glock 43 in a TT snap-off OWB pancake holster if I cinch it up. It is very comfortable and secure. Granted, that is a lightweight rig. I haven't tried it with my Colt 1911 in a similar holster, but I think it will do just fine. I would recommend a holster with 1.5 inch loops, and not any larger so the holster stays positioned. It probably wouldn't do well as a duty belt, or carrying a heavy hunting magnum, but for concealed carry it's fine for me and all day wear, especially in the summer. Not as hot or as uncomfortable as a leather belt. If you prefer an Inside-The-Waistband carry, you definitely want to go with a longer belt. That buckle system will not slip. As for some of the complaints about how the buckle works, it's pretty easy. If you have a problem, just check out the YouTube videos. However I wouldn't admit to your friends you had to watch a video to figure out how to put your belt on and off ;-) Highly recommended; comes with a great guarantee.

"Standard" width = 1.5"
This is a great belt, I purchased two belts many years ago and they are just now starting to show wear. They hold up well, flat profile, and have good buckle hold. I'm trying to reorder a 1" ("narrow") belt, and it appears that Amazon only offers the "Standard" width of 1.5" - thought I had ordered 1" but that not what I received, and returned it. Can't locate 1" width at all in Grip6. Wish they offered 1" width on Amazon!

The best pants holder upper. I’m glad I found this.
I guess the commies have been writing bad reviews for this item. It looks great. It works great. It holds your pants up great. OUTSTANDING! The belt strap itself is heavy duty. The whole system is light weight. The buckle won’t malfunction because there are no moving parts. It is a little backwards when putting the strap through but all in all it’s very easy. Taking it off is just as easy. I have mild carpal tunnel in both hands and I can put it on and take it off with no problems. I ordered two straps and one buckle. They will be forever my pant holder uppers. What I really like about this belt system, is that you can adjust it according to your eating habits, pant preference, and you can make it as tight or loose as you want it. The buckle doesn’t stick out a mile either. Thanks for an outstanding simple product

Best belt ever!
I am at work today and was recommending this belt to someone. He was wearing another type of belt that I had tried out and didn’t like so I was telling him about the Grip6. I realized I should also write a review since that was the case. I’ve tried a lot of other belts. First, belts with holes are only adjustable so much. Other belts either have a higher profile that will scratch whatever you lean against, and they will often slip. This belt is ingenious and so simple at the same time. The first time I tried it on I was doubtful that it wouldn’t slip. There just didn’t seem to be anything that would really hold it tight. But it has never slipped on me, ever. And it has such a nice slim profile. Simple, effective, and adjustable at any time to wherever you might need it. I now have three of these. One for work, one for dressier occasions, and one for hiking. And the one for hiking, if it gets dirty, it’s the easiest thing to clean off. These are the best belts you are ever going to find!

GRIP6 Web Belt
I've had this belt for about two months and have been using it as my main belt. This is the first time I've tried something other than a traditional leather belt with spaced holes. I also usually spend $10-15 on belts, so $35 for the GRIP6 was a little on the high end for me. Usually the (cheap) leather on my belts wear out around the hole that gets used. And, once they're on waist, the excess strap sometimes ends up being an awkward length and hanging off. The GRIP6 is appealing for several reasons. I haven't had any issues with it slipping once it's on. Any excess strap gets tucked behind the belt for a nice clean look. It can also be adjusted by arbitrary amounts, without needing to jump from hole to hole, to get a perfect fit. This is nice if your pants vary a bit in waist size, or sit at different parts of your waist. I got the gunmetal buckle with black strap. It looks very sharp while not drawing attention to itself. Gunmetal/black and other darker colors might be able to be dressed up a bit for more formal settings. The buckle and strap seem very sturdy so far, with nothing obviously having worn down. The strap has a nice seat belt feel to it. I like that the two pieces can be replaced separately, or mixed and matched with other colors. I also considered some other brands of rachet-style belts, but they seemed to have more moving pieces that could potentially break. On the other hand, the GRIP6 avoids much of this. The piece that seems most susceptible to wear and tear is the stopper fastened to the end of the strap, but it is holding up fine for me. The main downside so far is that it takes more dexterity to fasten the belt than a traditional leather one. I find GRIP6 adjustment to be a two hand operation. Other than that, I am happy with this purchase. **Edit: 7/5/2025** After four years, the same GRIP6 belt is still going strong as my daily driver. I wear it in all situations where a belt will not be visible, which for me is most days. I never attempted to dress it up like I was thinking in my original review; instead, I capitulated and bought a few quality leather belts in black and brown for tuck-in situations. Leather belts just inexplicably pair with leather shoes. (Check out North Star Leather - they use thick slabs of SB Foot leather and are reasonably priced). I purchased a second GRIP6 as a gift for a family member and he actually uses it - this has never been the case with any other gift ever. I just noticed that the price on the GRIP6 belts has increased quite a bit over the past few years. Even if it's a little costly for a simple nylon strap and aluminum buckle, I think I'd still rather get one of these than two or three "genuine" leather belts that will last 1-2 years each.

meh
still fighting with getting the belt to maintain tension... very stiff and somewhat uncomfortable.... not very happy so far. Edit: after several weeks, I've gone back to my leather belt. Tired of the time it takes to tension this, and tensioning every 30 minutes or so isn't any better. I suggest a high quality leather belt.

Hubby can’t stop talking about this belt!
My husband has used the same leather belt for the seven years I’ve known him. Whether he’s wearing jeans, shorts or slacks, he’s using that same black leather belt. In those seven years, he’s gained a few pounds (he likes to blame that on me), and he’s had to add a hole or two. I took the opportunity of our 3rd wedding anniversary to splurge on a new leather belt for him. (For those not in the “know”, the 3rd anniversary gift tradition is “leather.”) I started down the deep rabbit hole of leather belts and decided on a holeless style since it offered the most flexibility in sizing (no more punching his own holes). And then, there it was... the GRIPS belt. Not leather, but the style is what I was looking for. I loved the minimalist style. Not fussy, not flashy, but stylish and will go with shorts, jeans and slacks alike. I chose the black with gunmetal buckle and rejoiced at the one-day shipping option. I literally ordered it this morning and several hours later, it arrived! Wrapped it with his other last-minute gifts and presented it to the hubs this evening. Upon opening the box, he commented on the quality of the presentation and on the belt itself. The buckle is nice and heavy with a classy matte finish. The strap is tightly woven and of a good thickness that should withstand lots of wear. The instructions printed on the box were straightforward and easy to understand. Once on, my husband couldn’t stop commenting on how nice it is. He plans to retire his old leather belt and use this exclusively. In his words, he will “probably wear this forever.” Ha! Who would’ve thought that a belt would outshine all of his other gifts. Thanks for a great product!.
