Perfect for pets!
The ECOVACS DEEBOT N30 Omni Care is one of the most impressive robot vacuums I’ve used. The suction power is excellent, and it transitions smoothly between carpet and hard floors. The mop function works surprisingly well and leaves the floors noticeably cleaner. The navigation is smart and avoids obstacles without getting stuck. I also love the convenience of the auto-empty system — it keeps maintenance super low. The app is simple to use and allows precise room mapping and scheduling. Overall, it’s a reliable, efficient, and time-saving upgrade for any home. Highly recommended!

Although vacuuming and mopping sound like easy tasks, doing them regularly can be very annoying and time consuming on top of other chores. In the past, we’ve always been arguing about who should vacuum the house, but luckily now we have the vacuum and mop robot, and we are confident that it will put an end to that argument — from now on, we will just reply on it to keep the house clean. We received it a few days ago and have already started to use it. We’ve been impressed by its performance. In general, we think it is “smart”enough to do its job. It scanned the area and created a map on its own. During cleaning, it detected obstacles and avoided them automatically. It could distinguish hard wood floor and carpet and adjusted accordingly. It went back to the base station automatically for dust collection whenever needed. After the vacuuming and mopping, we could tell that the floor was clean. The app was easy and intuitive to use. After the initial setup, we could start the job by one click. We could see its route from the app, which we found quite useful and it was also possible to adjust the cleaning area if needed. Maybe just one small downside: in general, it was quiet during cleaning, but the dust collection was a little bit loud. But we are not bothered by that, because it only lasted a few seconds. Overall, we are very satisfied with the purchase, and this robot really saves us quite some time and energy by taking care of the routine cleaning job in our house.

Fulfills and even exceeds our expectations, in a word Amazing!
The T30C provides and delivers tremendous suction power capability 20,000pa and fulfills and even exceeds expectations and performs brilliantly to solve many cleaning problems in our large and difficult interconnected 5 level home. With shiny granite and shiny marble floors 2 dogs and a cat, mopping was time consuming. Now with the app I push a couple of buttons on my phone and done. Also the app is fantastic, easy to use and it works! The Ecovacs T30C is one of the best purchases I ever made, really! ECOVACS DEEBOT T30C Robot Vacuum and Mop offers advanced features such as self-emptying capabilities, auto-lift self cleaning mopping, and sophisticated obstacle avoidance, along with a suction power of 20,000Pa, Hot Water Washing, ZeroTangle 2.0 Technology, and TruEdge Adaptive Edge Mopping.

Frustrations. Hair tangles. Globs on floor
10/12/2025 : OMg! In addition to everything else, this robot is just NOT reliable to anti-tangling hair. I have attached a picture showing just how terrible it is. Today, after setting it to clean my house, I returned to find HAIR STREWN ALL OVER the HOUSe!!! I used the auto clean function, so it wasn’t any specific setting I chose. This is terrible!!! The whole POINT of me getting this model was so I did not have to u tangle hair!!! Now I STILL have to check if the hair is tangled every single time!!!!!! WHATS THE POINT!!!! I want my money back!!!!! I bought an X11, thinking that’s exactly what I needed, but I’m so glad I returned it!!! I am never buying another Ecovacs again!!! This X9 is such a disappointment! Because, now every time I check for hair tangles, the plastic lid falls off!!! Do not get this robot!!! Look for something else! It also still leaves little sticky globs over the floor. This was one of the worst purchasing decisions I have ever made! I’m never trusting video reviews ever again! DO NOT BUY!!! 9/5/2025 : WARNING! I was victim of a phishing scam. They knew travel dates. They knew about a family emergency. They impersonated law enforcement and government officials with great confidence and official looking paperwork. It ran over multiple weeks, with a level of psy-ops that indicated government secret services. The money is currently sitting in two banks in Hong Kong, China (HSBC and Bank of East Asia), where after a month of providing police reports and evidence, there is little indication if the money will be returned. You can make up your own mind. For my household, we wracked our brains about how the scammers obtained such information. And this robot vacuum is one of the possible spying tools that could have been used. We knew about Chinese hacking, and didn’t think much of it. But, we lost a lot of money. I was going to purchase the X11, but cannot do so anymore. You decide what is safe for your family, and protect yourself. I’ve reduced this to 3 stars, because I can’t prove it was this device, but the overwhelming official Chinese involvement in this scam has shocked us to our core. You make up your own minds. 8/29/2025 : after a couple of months, I am very happy with the mop. I stand by the design flaws I mention in the video, so will leave it at 4 stars, but can still strongly recommend it as a vacuum over others. It never trapped hair again, so I just love not having to flip this ever again. The water clips are annoying, but, whatever. The mop works great, and somehow I didn’t have the seed issues again. For some reason it never kept my cleaning settings below, so I just set it to mostly auto, and have been happy. I pull out the stools, it does climb on them now and does clean the metal, but still leaves some crumbs at the breakfast area, which I use a Dyson to finish off. It’s not perfect, but, it’s still a lot less work than the old vacuum. Happy for now, but can’t wait for the next 5 years where these robots can actually perform minor miracles. Hope this update helps. I’m keeping it. Also I love not having to set it up with a smart home, just talk to the hub directly, I by far prefer that. I do wish it had a cyclone style dustbin in the hub, instead of these bags, so I could clean it out regularly and extend the life of the vacuum, but, for some reason these companies just don’t want to give us that option. 7/8/2025 : soooo. I went through the settings and set it to vacuum before mopping. I increased suction to high (not max). Still just single pass. But I increased vacuum pattern to “deep clean” (tighter lines). I increased the water supply for mopping to 40 (the highest medium setting). With these settings, I was pretty happy with the results. I will try this vacuum out for another few weeks and will see if the hair gets trapped again. These settings do drain the battery more, and the bot needed to recharge to finish the job, but I don’t mind. The floor did feel really clean this time. I think I will work around this vacuum, and change my bathroom rugs to low pile. And I will rearrange the bar stools to make it easier for the vacuum to get around and clean around them. With these settings, I will up the rating from 2 to 4 stars. I have to be honest, I had to re watch many reviews of this vacuum, in order to consider how best to use it. I am guessing that the grime in my floor might have been left over by my previous vacuum, and I just wasn’t looking carefully. But, I guess this new rolling mop is the best chance I have to remove and keep such grime off my floors. As far as the seeds being glued to the floor, that is definitely this mopping system, but, hopefully vac before mop will remove that issue. The floor felt very clean today with the new settings. So. Fingers crossed. I’ll buy the detergent and see if that helps as well. Maybe not to use every time, but from time to time. 7/7/2025 : Let’s just say that my first impressions are very disappointing. Let me start with what I did not like, because, it is quite a bit at this point. The water containers on the dock clip on the side, so if you’re not careful, you’re going to have water spilled. Especially concerning for the dirty water. The main dustbin and detergent are of the dock has a clip on, not a magnetic clip, so it doesn’t feel so great, and can be sticky to snap back on. The top cover of the robot doesn’t have any magnetic clips or even a hinge, so if you turn it upside down it simply falls off. Granted, I initially didn’t care if I never need to flip it, right!? Well, initially, after my first run, I was thrilled because I did not see obvious hair tangling in the brush or wheels (the gf has long hair). Well, on closer inspection, as you can see in one of the pics, there was a substantial clump of hair stuck in the crevice of one of the main wheels. I was nearly apoplectic. It is just two adults, we eat multigrain bread for breakfast, and sometime spill seed in the floor. We sit on bar stools, as you can see. The robot did not do a very good job of picking up all the seeds, redistributed a few, and now, this part is a mystery… it somehow GLUED a few seeds to random parts of our floor. I had to put a lot of pressure with my fingernails, and many attempts, to pry the seeds off the floor!!! Granted, we did not use detergent for this run, but neither did we for our older vacuum mop. It tends to skirt around single-leg stools and lamp posts and coat racks, treating them as “objects to avoid”, I guess, as opposed to furniture. I want it to get up and personal in cleaning around those objects, but there is just nothing in the settings to tell this stupid robot to clean those pieces of furniture!! Stop treating my coat rack as a “fallen sock” or whatever is going on. I had cut styrofoam around my coat rack, while I wait for my felt base to arrive, and left the bits of broken styrofoam as a test for this robot. Well. It failed miserably. It didn’t even get close to the coat rack. I am so tempted to buy the new Roborock and do a side by side test. I have three bathroom rugs. My previous Roborock struggled only slightly with those rugs, at most it would move them around. This vacuum literally got stuck in my rugs and I had to remove them from the floor!!! Finally, I found these “globs” or “grime” at various places in the floor. This may or may not be the robots fault, and maybe will clear up if I use detergent over time on its own. But still. It’s a bit disappointing. I bought this vacuum based on the excellent ratings it received from popular online reviewers. But as others have stated, I am starting to have BIG doubts about the “real world” quality of those testing criteria. I am mid-forties, love tech, owned a Roborock V8 ultra before this, and 2 generations of roomba before that. I have two Dyson vacuums. I share this simply to say that I am familiar with tech, and have experience with many robot vacuums, and high end vacuums in general. Ok, begrudgingly, what did I like? It mapped my floor VERY quickly. It is much quieter than the older vacuum. It was quick to set up. I love the dedicated detergent container. The brushes did not tangle a single hair inside of them (even if it did clump in a wheel base). It cleaned my entire floor in one charge. It charges much faster. Rock solid wifi connection. The app is super easy to set up and use. When the rolling mop does (on the rare occasion) climb into the base of my bar stools, it leaves it looking very polished (while the vibrating Roborock version does not). It empties the dustbin a number of times during cleaning to maximize suction. When a bathroom door was closed, it returned to that bathroom at the end of cleaning to check if the door had opened!! I was VERY impressed with that! So. I am highly frustrated. There is a LOT to like about this robot. I like the spinning brush idea, and the idea of cleaning out the brush for debris. It tends to leave surfaces looking polished. The brushes did itself does not tangle hair. But. I do not want to EVER have to clean up hair clumps. It does feel like they rushed out this robot to be competitive, instead of truly mastering the anti-tangle design of the entire robot. I may or may not also purchase the flagship Roborock and then decide which or the two works better for my home. But for now, this does not feel like an amazing upgrade, or a flagship experience.

Highly Recommended Robot Vacuum Cleaner
I’m very happy with this robot vacuum cleaner. It does an excellent job of picking up dust, hair, and small debris from both hard floors and carpets. The suction power is strong, and it moves smoothly around furniture without getting stuck. I especially like how convenient it is to schedule cleanings—it saves so much time and keeps the house consistently clean. The battery life is good, and it automatically returns to the charging dock when needed. It’s also much quieter than I expected. Overall, this robot vacuum is a great investment for anyone looking to maintain a clean home with minimal effort. Perfect for busy schedules and pet owners!

Good product for hard floor
30 days review: Purchased this robot to replace a combo of two old robots I had to vacuum and mop my house - The roomba i7+ & the narwal T10. Pro: no longer need to have two vacuums working around my house as this robot does both vacuum and mop simultaneously OR in sequence. Mopping is much more efficient than with the Narwal T10 (my T10 was from 2022). Less water usage for larger surface cleaning & roller does definitely a much better / deeper cleaning than the pads. I like the fact that the roller is instantaneously cleaned as it washes my floor. I let my Narwal running for another two weeks to see the difference between the two and at some point, the dirty water tank of the Narwal was as clear as the clean water when the X9 pro dirty water tank was very cloudy. On the vacuum side: more efficient than the i7+, stronger and newer technology (roomba was a covid 2020 baby). I do think that the vacuum functionality of the Narwal T10 was as good as the X9 and in some place my old Narwal picked up more debris. Having the combo tower with dust bin as well as water tanks is a great +. The base stays clean and need really little maintenance so far. Easier to maintain and keep clean than the Narwal T10 for sure. Cons: Noisy - Very noisy > as noisy as the roomba. A big surprise after the almost silent Narwal T10 experience. Small water tanks - for a 2800sqft size floor map - Water tank needs a minimum of a weekly change. I don’t think the clean water tank is half a gallon / dirty water tank even smaller. In comparison the Narwal water tank was 1Gallon. Although i have to say that the moping does not require much water. Parts are fragile. The side brush broke 20 days after receiving product. I had to order accessories on the X9 pro app and just paid another 100$ for parts and 50$ for (regular) shipping. So unless good compromise/ quality parts become available on side market, this robot will be very expensive to run in the medium to long run. As a comparison, i only changed side brushes once a year on Narwal and every 6 months on Roomba. Furniture avoidance: even on the smallest option, it does avoid some areas of my house such as my breakfast area as does not go under my chairs for some reason. Overall a good product- On the higher price tag. The mopping roller is definitely what sets it apart from competition.

Great upgrade — best robot vacuum I’ve owned so far
I’ve owned three robot vacuums before this, and I honestly thought the technology had peaked. My 2nd one was an early Roborock with laser navigation — a huge step up from iRobot at the time. Then I got the Roborock Q Evo, which added mopping, but it couldn’t quite reach the edges of the floor. That’s why I bought the X9 Pro — I was really curious about the roller that extends to clean right up to the wall. And it actually works! The edge cleaning is super impressive; I can see that the dust and stains near the wall are completely gone, which saves me from having to mop those spots myself. The navigation system is also lower in height (no big bump on top), so it fits under furniture with less clearance. The only downside for me is the battery — one full charge isn’t enough to finish cleaning my whole house, and it takes about an hour to recharge before it can continue. I wish it supported faster charging. Other than that, it’s easily the best robot vacuum I’ve owned. It’s smart, powerful, and feels like a real step forward compared to older models.

Powerful, Intelligent Cleaning with Minimal Effort
I’ve been very impressed with the ECOVACS DEEBOT X9 PRO Omni. This robot vacuum and mop combo delivers powerful suction and intelligent navigation, making everyday floor cleaning effortless and effective. Its self-washing OZMO Roller system keeps the mop clean throughout the process, which is a feature I haven’t seen in many competitors and makes a noticeable difference in the quality of the clean. The suction power is strong enough to handle dust, debris, and pet hair on both hard floors and carpets, and the AI-driven navigation ensures it covers rooms efficiently without getting stuck. The included auto station adds convenience by managing waste and recharging without much intervention. Setup was straightforward, and once connected to the app, it’s easy to schedule cleanings, designate no-go areas, and monitor progress. Overall, this unit feels like a premium clean solution that significantly reduces the time and effort I spend on floor care. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a robust robot vac-and-mop system.
