is this aquarium safe?

Yes, it is. I have used this on all my aquariums since 2010. I have 7 planted aquariums, ranging from 5g shrimp to 90g community. I use this on all my o-rings and gaskets on my canisters (8 of them) and HOB filters (3 of them). All filters are still running great with no degradation to the o-rings or gaskets. Will this work on plastic drawer edges in a refrigerator that squeak and slide poorly

I would go with a silicone based lubricant that would be safe for O rings due to the fact that this particular lubricant can damage or mar plastic and rubber. This very same company makes that type that would be best for you. It clearly states on the product that you will be looking for.

Would this grease be appropriate for a squeaky office chair?

Superlube appears to be silicone grease with PTFE (Teflon). It's good stuff where you want a water-resistant paste grease you can smear on. However, for a squeaky office chair, I would think that you'd be better off with a spray white lithium grease. That's the recommended choice for car door hinges and the like.
