Seems quite good, avoids excess sugar, good mixed with your own cocoa and flavorings to taste, "Isolate" is better than "Concentrate" if you wish to avoid excess fat and perhaps receive a little less sugar (lactose), decent price, palatable enough, dissolves quite well in 6 oz cold milk in a blender (but don't put it in hot beverages like hot coffee, it curdles). Nutricost website says, "Made in a GMP Compliant, FDA Registered Facility", but this statement falls short and isn't very reassuring, it would be nice to be able to read the actual chemical analysis performed by an independent reputable lab such as USP, this is always a concern. For instance, what is the actual measured heavy metal and lead concentration? The disclaimer "Do not use for weight reduction" is puzzling and a bit CYA, since this whey animal protein presumably has a full complement of amino acids, and undoubtedly many folks including myself are using it to boost protein intake while taking GLP-1 agonists and limiting calories. Thus we have to take some of this on faith, never a fully comfortable undertaking for something we ingest daily.

Beware - horrible product and unacceptable Nutricost customer service! Product is NOT dissolve in liquid/milk and become a very small lumps about the size of very small lentils and settle down to the bottom of the glass - all of it - disgusting! While trying to figure out the reason I've sent a request about ingredients composition and Nutricost responded that Nutricost keeping the ingredients % in secret from their clients - dignity imbedded answer! Nutricost also refuse to send a return label: "we do not provide return labels at this time. You can purchase a return label from any major carrier including UPS, USPS, and FedEx"

The nutrition of this lower cost whey protein isolate is very good. I use only 1/3 serving because I am using it to just boost my AM protein a bit. I spoon stir it and mixes decently but not perfectly as usually a couple of small clumps remain (so 95% mixed). The taste of the unflavored is not great, but I just drink it down. It serves my purpose. EDIT - I get the unflavored. Each batch is different. My second batch didn't mix as well as the first and tasted a little a little different. My third batch seemed to be a finer powder, tasted differently than the first two batches. But wors was that it seemed incredibly SALTY, despite the label saying otherwise. It left my mouth dry and wanting to drink a lot of water. I don't understand how there can be so much batch to batch variation.

All unflavored protein powders have some sort of residual flavor. This one is not terrible, but I've had much better. Does not mix well in milk when stirred-in. Stays lumpy with dry clumps. I don't always want to bring out the blender to mix, then the cleaning of the blender, etc. There are other isolate protein powders that mix well and very easily with a glass of milk. Just my .02 cents. YMMV.
