The price of this calendar was good and the item shipped quickly. However, when I opened the box the stack of pages had come apart into two sections. I wasn't happy but kept it because I was interested in the quotes. After having it for a few months, I am throughly disappointed with this calendar's construction for as you can see in the photo, none of the pages has torn off cleanly and there is a thick mass of torn edges at the top of the calendar.I have had day-by-day calendars in the past and I don't recall them being this poorly constructed.

Regardless of your religion, even if you are an atheist, the ideas and philosophy of the Dalai Lama can apply across all boundaries. A gentle daily reminder of peace and love from a great thinker.

I have been following the Dalai Lama's wisdom and advice daily for lots of years now - and I hope my sources for obtaining this calendar never dry up or otherwise stop carrying it!! It's just the best!!!

Most of the messages are quite generic and don't make complete sense. But it still makes me stop and breathe for a few seconds each day, so I guess it was worth the purchase.

Give your friends and family something to think about everyday. Even if you question the wisdom of the advice, you have at least thought about it that day.
