I've been a Kyocera rugged phone for years. My last one was a Verizon Kyocera E7110. I loved it. I switched to T-Mobile and took the E7110 with me. It worked great until Verizon rolled out a major software update. The E7110 locked up and was useless. I looked over all the choices on Amazon and came across Blackview. The reviews were good but I was skeptical about it working with T-Mobile. My phone came well packaged. I charged it up and transferred my apps and data to the Blackview. Everything is working flawlessly. I am impressed with the quality of the phone and the it's ruggedness. It doesn't seem like it could break... Even if I tried. I will say it's large and a bit weighty but not so much that you can't carry it or easily use it. I give it five stars... Excellent quality for a reasonable price. A very good alternative to Kyocera or Cat phones and hundreds less. Great job Balckview.

The owner of my local cell phone repair shop recommended the black view to me. He said that the only repair he ever has had to do on a blackview phone is on the charging port because they don't last very long. He said other than that the phone is top-notch so I bought the phone knowing that at some point I may have problems with it charging but I didn't expect that to be 3 months in. It first began with me having to wiggle the cord around before it would stay charging. Then progressively got worse and now the cord that came with the phone will no longer charge the phone. I had to buy an iPhone charger to charge this phone and now 6 months after having the phone it will not accept a charge at all and I have had to revert back to using my old Samsung S10. Other than the charging issue the phone works great the battery life is phenomenal when the phone is charged. The pictures are very dull and lackluster compared to my Samsung but I didn't buy the phone for the pictures I bought it because I needed a phone that had a great battery life and this one does. When the phone is fully charged I can go about three or four days without having to plug it back up. But now that the phone won't charge it all it's useless to me

I bought this phone to replace my BV4900, which I LOVE but finally got the power cord ripped out by my cats one too many times (I'd repair it if I could). But the BV7100 is about twice as heavy as my old 4900. I get hand fatigue from my old phone due to the dimensions, so I knew as soon as I had the box open that I couldn't use this phone. I'm so disappointed. I love Blackview phones and would 100% love to buy another, but I just can't carry a 1.7 pound brick or hold it up while I'm reading, texting, talking on the phone. :( Super disappointed. Otherwise, I expect it's great quality. I have had to buy a different brand of phone because all the rugged BV phones are huge now. Hopefully they'll produce another version of the BV4900 so I can use them again. That phone has lasted me over 3 years, and I went through 3 phones in 2 months at one point.
