I cannot find an on/off switch. Where is it? The only way to turn it off currently is to unplug it. the temperature control doesn't turn it off.

there is no off switch. to turn machine off you have to unplug it. I have been doing this all along, no big deal :)

does it come with removable mesh screens and non stick sheets? If I get one I would like to use it for making flax crackers

The mesh screens are removable/easily washable. It doesnt come with non-stick sheets. Excalabers are pricey but work well. Ive not tried other brands.
