I was not expecting this to come in bright red since the picture shows brown or brownish red but the brush itself seems to work well for cleaning my suede booties and my coats. I tried it on my suede boots in the video shown. Can’t upload another video but also tried it on a wool blend coat. The bristles are somewhere between super soft and firm so they’re good for cleaning without the harshness of synthetic material. I’d say it worked better at cleaning the suede boots than my coat, it was really good for getting the dust particles and random flakes off my suede shoes. It’s cheap and it worked so I’m not too off put by the color.

Surprisingly better than the velvet lint removers and easier to clean

A good brush. I'm glad I didn't spend $80 on a name brand brush. This brush is plenty sufficient. There was a small piece of debris in the bristles (like dried grass) but I got it out. There are also numerous subtle dents in the wood. The metal trim in the eye-hole has minor flaws. The rawhide hanging strap is good quality, but it wasn't tied well so I retied it. There were some tiny flaws in the stain. However, the wood seems solid enough. Lastly, it has a very strange smell coming out of the box. Most importantly, it brushes well. It brushed a ton of dirt and dust off of my uniform with ease. Super effective for brushing clothing.

I was hoping for a brush that would remove clay dust from my pottery clothing before I put them in the wash. This brush was not sturdy enough for that. However, it is made well and for most other purposes it would probably be gentle on clothing and remove light particles.

Good price, good quality!!! This is a must have to keep chenille looking fresh. You only need to use about once a week, don’t want to cause wear, but keeps dust from aging your chenille furniture 🥰
