I've used this to catch and lower logs chopping down some huge tree branches.It coped fine with an oak log that was 2m long and about 40cm diameter.One branch was ridiculously heavy and when it dropped the rope was going through this pulley which was on a carabiner which was on a 20mm nylon sling around the trunk.The force of the branch dropping was enough to snap the nylon sling. That's a lot of force.The pulley is fine and still runs smoothly (the carabiner hole is showing some mis-shaping now - it's had a lot of heavy logs dropped on it!)Highly recommended!

I am amazed with what these cheap pulleys can withstand. They had a gentle life untill the other week when I needed to move 1.4metic tons of chipper out of a river is fell in. A quick 9:1 and it was out. These pulleys survived. The did close up on them selves but the still work although there is definate signs of stress on the pulley wheels. So they are retired now. But will buy these again when needed.

Performed well. Tolerances aren’t exactly right but functioned as needed with a 10mm rope.Finish was as expected for a cheap pulley.Used in a rigging system for light tree surgery.

Works perfectly for routing my washing line around my garden.Feels very strong but I have no experience using it for mission impossible type purposes.

Great pulleys used them to lower and raise a chandelier on stage made the job very easy.

Used to make a pully system to help heavy friend up a difficult ledge and also use to make a top line without running my rope over a Sharp edge

Decent quality pulleys, repurposed for use in a pulley lift system to store my kayaks, a sling around hull and clipped in by a karabiner these work a treat
